Slightly disappointing but ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are always worth a laugh. Gets a bit lost sometimes and depends a bit too much on dodgey 70's threads for the laughs.

A really appealing and enjoyable film. Fantastic colour, great characters and music. Some more serious sub-plots sit comfortably in what is basically a really fun film.

I loved this film! I was expecting to be a bit spooked by it (which I was) but it is also incredibly touching. A real masterpiece.

A fantastic, extremely watchable cast. Do away with preconceptions and just go with it. It's kind of cheesy but these girls make 'cheesy' very cool. Also interesting for Ludovine Sagnier playing a very different role to 'Swimming Pool'

Not your average film. if you are looking for a good yarn to watch with pizza don't bother! I found this film absolutely intriguing both from an historical and a film-making point of view. The actor playing the main character is great.

Fantastic film. Cate Blanchett really involves you in the character. A must-see.

This isn't horrible but I thought it was pretty weak. It's almost worth it for Brenda Blethyn and the strange mish-mash cast, but not quite.

Sooo much better than Hollywood's Roxanne! Beautiful to watch.

This is my favourite film and it was just as good on DVD as big screen. It's beautiful, very involving and ultimately quite ruthless. A classic French film. Vincent Cassel is fantastic as Max and real-life wife Monica Belucci (the most beautiful woman in the world??) adds a lot of class. Put this on your queue NOW!!

This is a wonderful film! It has a beautiful richness which good French films seem to have. It stirred up the feminists when it was released as it apparently doesn't follow the life story of Artemisia G in a completely accurate manner and some of the male characters were made a little "nicer". This aside, it is a sexy, sumptuous film and makes you want to know more about this intriguing woman.

I really liked this film. It's beautiful to look at and the characters are appealing. It's a fun, feelgood movie, and the actress who played Rosalba is gorgeous!

A movie that stays in your head! The cast are wonderful and although it's a pretty raunchy film this doesn't detract from the story - just send the kids to bed....

If, like me, you watched The Monkees on telly during the late seventies (thus missing late 60's Monkee hysteria) this interesting doco sheds some light on what it was all about. Good interviews and episode snippets.

Well worth watching. Jean Reno and Vincent Cassel are great. Fantastic scenery and beautifully shot. Spine-chilling storyline and a bit gory - extra features are very interesting. Ending left me very slightly disappointed but enjoyed this film immensely - I'm a Kassovitz fan!
