I really enjoyed this and was genuinely scared for the little girl at times.I liked the ending too-made you think.Great Aussie cast in it ;and Katie Holmes did quite well as the girlfriend trying to befriend her partner's child.it was a typical Guillermo del Toro thriller/horror flick.Better than I was expecting.

Sorry to say that I was disappointed with this.I'm a huge Matt Damon fan normally.His performance was okay;and the young boy who played Marcus was a standout for me.However;the journalist character was someone I just couldnt like or feel any empathy for;and her portions of the movie ruined it for me.Movie felt overly long as well.

I really enjoyed this movie.I havent seen the original;but Jeff Bridges does an outstanding job as Rooster Coghburn in this movie;and the young girl who portrays Mattie(her first major role too) is wonderful.Matt Damon provides comedy as well.Would recommend this movie very highyly.

This is one of the best films Ive seen in ages.I just LOVE the minions and their different personalities.Watching Gru fall in love with the orphans was funny and heartwarming.A film for both kids and grown up kids at heart.

This was an excellent movie.Thought provoking and intelligent;and Pacino and Crowe were outstanding in their roles.The true story of how a man(Crowe) and a tv show(Pacino with 60 Minutes) took on the tobacco industry in America was rivetting from start to finish;and you will find yourself cheering for the good guys towards then end.Highly recommend this.

This DID remind me of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre"-but much much worse.They call "Saw" torture porn but "Saw" has nothing on this French nightmare.Disturbing;hellish;and way too gruesome for me(like many of the European horror films lately). I skipped a few scenes because of the horror of it all;just so I could find out what happens at the end.Dont watch if very squeamish.It will haunt you in a bad way for days.

I was very surprised by this movie.It was so compelling to watch how everything fell into place.It was very violent and disturbing in some scenes;but these explained alot about the main character Irena. I havent been this impressed by a movie in a long while;or as moved.

An excellent crime thriller.keeps you on your toes!

I was expecting a pyschological thriller based on a true story.I was very disturbed and upset by the whole movie;and I usually have a very strong stomach.I recommend that anyone who is upset by unexpalinable violence NOT to watch this movie.Very disturbing and it deserved the r rating.You never do get to understand WHY the killer did what he did.Too horrific for the likes of me.
