Superb movie. I really "ummed and erred" about getting this one out. I don't usually like dramas about taboo subjects because I'm usually more of a popcorn action flick kinda guy. However, I'm really glad I watched this, it's well worth a look. Superb acting by the whole cast really makes this movie shine. I was surprised at the humour that was injected into a very awkward subject. I recommend everyone invest the 1.5 hours into this movie, you'll be glad you did. If anything, you'll really appreciate the cast's top rate acting, especially Helen Hunt's extremely courageous portrayal.

I'm picking this movie was some sort of biting social commentary on global economics and how capitalism has dehumanised our industry leaders and all the social injustice that goes with it ... but really I'm far too shallow to pick up on any of this. So I was really bored, couldn't be bothered investing any effort trying to understand the movie and ended up wanted those 2 hours back.

I've never seen a Marilyn movie, I only know her as an Icon of her time. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, I thought the acting was superb throughout. A straight-forward, linear plot that is well executed.

Let me say from the outset that didn't like the previous Underworld films, and I only got this one out to see if the franchise had improved in any way. I actually preferred this movie to the others, but not by much. I thought the action was better, but still a little to graphically violent for me. I prefer the Resident Evil franchise. I give this 3 stars because at least I didn't fall asleep during this movie.

I thought this movie was a well-craft, interesting movie. It's slower paced, but if you have a keen interest in seeing the lifestyle, environment and problems faced by others, it's well worth a look. Excellent acting by Clooney and the cast.

Very entertaining movie if you are well prepared to suspend reality. If you just go with the flow and treat it like a fictional story, it's very enjoyable. I thought it was worth it just for the cute little girl alone.

This is definitely a difficult movie to review. If you are in the movie profession, a movie critic or a cinema buff/historian, you'll probably really love this movie. It's a terrific homage to the lineage of cinema traced back to the landmark silent films. Movies that are skilfully made and celebrate the movie industry and are well executed tend to get positive critical reviews. Robert Altman's The Player and Tim Burton's Ed Wood come to mind. It's all a bit self-congratulatory. As a piece of cinema for the mainstream, these movies tend to miss their mark. And unfortunately, this movie suffers from the same problem. I love Martin Scorsese's work, and I did appreciate this movie, but it was too drawn out and didn't hold enough interest to really hold your attention. I doubt whether kids would find this movie very rewarding, compared to other offerings which have faster pace and more entertainment. So be very careful when choosing this movie. If you are prepared for a slow burn pacing, you will find the reward there. If you are watching it with your kids, expect their attention to wonder, if they haven't already dozed off. 5 Stars if you are a cinema aficionado, but only 3 stars for the rest of us mortals.

I grew up with the Muppet Show, so I'm totally and unashamedly biased. I just loved seeing them again. Last time I saw the Muppets was about a year ago when I saw MuppetVision 4D at Disney Hollywood Studios in Florida. It was then I realised how much I missed their good old-fashioned wholesome fun. This movie is no different. Corny in some parts maybe, some could even suggest that it's too saccharin, but in the end it's true to their wholesome lineage. I just loved it.

I thought this was a fine movie, and definitely one of Spielberg's best efforts for quite some time. Admittedly I didn't know much about the movie going into it, so I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't mind the sentimentality, which can be off-putting for some. Outstanding cinematography. Was glad I watched it.

Let me say from the outset: Meryl Streep is THE finest actor of our generation. I give 2 stars for her outstanding performance. With regards to the rest of the movie, all I can say is it's a missed opportunity. This is a poorly written and directed biopic of one of the most influential leaders of the Western world. Whether you liked her or not, Margaret Thatcher broke through the glass ceiling with dogged determination, disrupted the gentleman's establishment and ruled a nation on her terms. The downfall of this movie is you only get glimpses of this through flashback, with the main emphasis placed more on her personal battle with memory loss and symptoms of dementia during old age. Although this is tragic, I think the audience would have been better served with greater focus on her overcoming the challenges of the English parliamentary establishment and her iron determination to get her own way that polarised a whole nation. Disappointing.

Wasn't expecting anything, so was pleasantly surprised to find this watchable. Avoid if you don't like romantic comedy, otherwise go in with low expectation and it'll be OK. Gets 2 stars from me because it was set in New York, one of my most favourite cities to visit.

Meh, nothing to write home about. I think you have to be at least semi-interested in the machinations of the US Political system to enjoy this movie, otherwise you may find it really boring.

This is a fine movie if you like the spook, sleeper, secret agency genre. This was way better than I expected.

For us tail-end baby boomers and gen-Xers, Footloose was an iconic movie - more for being so bad, it was so good. It was the movie that made Kevin Bacon. This remake follows exactly the same formula. It's so awful, yet so entertaining. If you put your brain in neutral, have zero expectation, I'm sure you'll really get a kick out of it. Let's face it, we all now watching people country line dance is a real hoot. However, unlike the original, I don't see this movie kicking off any new careers here. Just add this to your list ... you know you want to ...

After watching this very poor movie, have to agree with Phil. This is a Tarantino wannabe and totally misses the mark. We've all seen the time-slicing technique of telling a story. Don't be fooled by the decent cast, it's just not really worth watching.

Great entertainment for action aficionados. Straight forward plot, nothing really too original here, but well executed. Just a great popcorn flick.

If you are a Twihard, you'll love this movie regardless. However, if you are like me and have watched the previous 3 movies to see what all the fuss is about, this instalment is very poor. The first 75% of the movie is very slow and drawn out. It does get interesting during the final sequences of the movie, but it's too little too late. So for Twihards, it's a must, for those of us who have seen the previous 3 movies and have some sort of interest in keeping up with the story, it's OK. Expect very little and you won't be too disappointed. For those who don't know much about Twilight, avoid this instalment like the plague.

Pretty good if you're in the mood for light comedy. Gets an extra star because Paul Rudd does a great job of his character, otherwise it's only a 3 star comedy.

Terrific movie. Very moving and very entertaining

Definitely avoid, unless you enjoy incongruent, pretentious, meandering expositions. "Aficionados" will proclaim this work as ambitious, layered, multi-thematic, sweeping, existential ... but in reality, it's just a poorly constructed, condescending excuse for cinema. It's just an opportunity for the ostentatious arty-types to point out how shallow the rest of us are for not appreciating the intellectual scope of this movie. Plain and simple, it's just a stinker.

Definitely thought this was better than the first one. The vocal talent of James Hong who plays Panda's father Mr Ping (The Goose) was the standout for me.

Terrific. You hardly notice reading subtitles in these types of movies because you get so wrapped up in it.

Sorry, fell asleep during this one, then when I woke up for the last 30 minutes, I didn't really care. I normally like this genre of movie, but this was a misfire for me.

I loved this movie, if only because I felt a sense of nostalgia, especially since we have all the original characters we know and love. Neve still looks terrific after all these years. It's a real blast for those who enjoyed the original(s), enjoy watching cliched lines and situations and don't take movies too seriously. Maybe watch it with some friends and beer.

I watched this movie without knowing anything about it, or the subject matter. My friends were kind enough to tell me to watch it, and didn't mention anything about what the doco was about. And I really enjoyed it. It went from intrigue, to scary "what the hell are you doing", to bewilderment and then to pity. If you like docos about the human condition and the different types of people we live amongst, then this is a good one.

I didn't actually like this movie, and couldn't really get into it until about the last 20 minutes where the action was very good. I hated the editing in the first 3/4 of the movie. It was disjointed and edited for those with attention deficit. You couldn't get into the story, or even relate to any of the characters. It gets 2 stars from me because I did enjoy the end action in Chicago city.

I thought it was watchable, but I have not seen the original so I had nothing to compare. And maybe that's the key, maybe only enjoyable to those who don't have anything to compare it to.

OK if you want something light toput the ole brain into neutral.

A re-imagining of the Beauty and the Beast story set to modern times, I quite enjoyed this movie. As mentioned by another reviewer, Mary-Kate Olsen is probably the outstanding character in this movie. It's worth watching just to see her play the modern-day witch, and a rather stunning "goth" witch at that.

I'm a Disney fan, but I was very lukewarm about this movie. It lacks the charm compared to the movies that come out of the Disney Pixar stable, although the motion-capture animation is pretty amazing, albeit funky looking. Worth a look, but if you go in with too high an expectation, you may be disappointed.

A very good movie, but the subject matter is grim for me. So I can't say it enjoyed it, but I can say that it was worth watching, in that it evoked a bit of a discussion in my household after. It's always interesting to put yourself in that character's position if you faced the same ethical dilemma. Would you make those same choices?

This is a superb, slow-burn drama. If you are looking for a Hollywood-style mindless action flick with 2-dimensional characters, look elsewhere. This movie has a rich tapestry of characters, and a drama that unfolds throughout. Ben Mendelsohn is a standout, with a haunting and memorable portrayal of a character with a sociopathic disorder. Jacki Weaver is also sublime as the matriarch.

Avoid. Movies that plain lie and pretend to be based on real life when it's all fabricated aren't worth watching. Such movies can't survive on their own merits, so they have to try to fool the audience by saying footage is real when it is not. Poor filmmaking. The quicker these types of films fail to make money, the better. Hollywood studios will hopefully think twice before foisting this rubbish to the public.

This is one of the best movies you've probably never heard of. Done by the same director who did "The Contender" with Joan Allen, this is a terrific political/court drama. Ensemble cast was excellent. Sublime supporting performances by Alan Alda, Vera Famiga and Matt Dillon. Definitely well worth a look.

This is a very fine film. If you are a fan of martial arts and want to see a film that portrays the true Wing Chun style, this is the movie for you. Donnie Yen does a superb job of being true to the form. You'll see the pure efficiency of style, minimal ceremony and direct contact this martial art entails. Plus you see a fine film that portrays one of China's true legends. Well worth a look to balance out some of the more intricate, but less realistic martial art films of late.

I'm definitely no teenager, but I really enjoyed this movie. I think there's enough here for teenagers and adults to enjoy. I haven't read any of the books, and I was a skeptic, so I think it's testament to the direction and storytelling that I found this movie highly entertaining, especially at my age (well over 40). I find myself inexplicably looking forward to the next installment !

I really enjoyed this movie. Nothing original about the plot, it's all been done before. It's the direction, pacing and action that excels here. You really enjoy getting behind Liam Neeson's character as he dispatches the bad guys with ruthless efficiency. Tons of fun.

OK entertainment. I really missed Rachel Weisz. The movie never really reaches the crescendo of the other 2 efforts.

Superb "slice of life" movie, made better by the fact that Woody Allen does NOT appear in this movie. The acting is terrific and Penelope Cruz injects the energy and life into this movie which would otherwise probably fall flat without her. Don't expect anything too deep and meaningful here, just take it as an interesting episode in the main characters life (Scarlett Johansson)

An odd movie to review. I presume the graphic novel was very good, but maybe it didn't translate too well as a movie. It seemed overly long. The problem with translating graphic novels into movies is trying to avoid making a melodrama. In many respects, this movie falls into this trap. Still, it's interesting enough to keep you entertained ... just (my wife fell asleep 2 hours into the movie).

I was quite surprised with this movie. Oliver Stone was very generous in his depiction of W. He paints W was a rather sad figure, never living up to his Dad's expectations and failing to live up to the heritage of his family. Even as president, Stone portrays W as being genuine in trying make the right decisions, but being lead astray by Cheney and his military cronies. Dreyfuss is masterful here. The weak point in this movie is the portayal of Rice. Well worth a look too see Dreyfuss best work in years.

A overly long, incoherent, pretentious piece of cinema that should only be shown at a museum for modern, abstract art. Those of us who struggle with real jobs are advised to think carefully before investing 3 hours of your precious spare time on this abstract, unintelligible work. You have been warned ! Many magazine and newspaper critics have given this movie a high star rating because they probably feel compelled to, for fear of being accused of being too shallow to appreciate such abstract cinema. The truth of the matter is this movie is a crock. Many budding directors could easily recreate a movie full of incoherent, unintelligible vignettes, replete with disturbing imagery and pass it off as cinematic art. The pretentious artsy-types can then pretend to understand or appreciate this high-brow work and accuse the rest of us as being too shallow or one-dimensional to appreciate it. I'm going to call a spade and spade and rank this movie a "Stinker". BTW: I'm not anti-Lynch, I did appreciate his work on Twin Peaks and Blue Velvet.

I'll watch any Paul Rudd movie. This was quite funny, worth a watch if you have a couple of hours free and want to see something that's not taxing on the mind.

Very good movie, especially if you are a keen follower of NCAA football and the Heisman trophy. I gave it an extra star as a follower of American Football, otherwise it would get 3 stars.

Excellent movie, only for it's historical aspect and authentic locations. You'll have to look past Tom Cruise, because the supporting cast is outstanding. I initially wasn't overly keen on seeing this movie, but I was very happy I did. Well worth a look.

Despite the mauling from the critics, I actually enjoyed this movie. How on earth critics can ravage this movie and then sing the praises of the movie Crash I'll never understand. They are very similar movies. I think I preferred this one because it had a very understated performance by Brendan Fraser.

This movie is just odd. I normally like fantasy, but found this movie a little confusing and actually not all that interesting. Peel away the excellent art direction, and you are left with a rambling, abstract storyline. My wife feel asleep during this movie, and wasn't particularly concerned that she missed most of it.

Pretty good, there are some outstanding funny moments when they film there own versions of the blockbuster movies, but these laughs are too few to warrant a higher rating.

Very funny. Only Anna Faris can pull this off. Anyone with a degree in English Literature from University of Washington has to be respected, playing comedic roles like this. Loved her in Scary Movie, and this is more of the same.

Totally excellent, witty script with most of the humour coming from teen vernacular. Characters are very likeable, and the underplayed drama is what makes this film very likeable. Adults and teens alike will get a lot out of this movie, but from different perspectives. It's just nice to finally see a movie where love and support exists in what would be a typically disfunctional environment. Well worth a look.

OK, best if you know about American Football, otherwise the romantic comedy side doesn't really stand up by itself. Funny to see how they played American Football old-school style.

OK action-adventure movie. Of course it's never going to be as good as the original Raiders of the Lost Ark. But still, it was nice to welcome back the character, especially for those of us who grew up with Indiana Jones.

Very interesting concept and set-up, but the problem is the movie largely misses the mark. This is probably due to hammy acting and some less than subtle over-the-top humour. Eddie Murphy was actually quite good in this movie, but let down by some of the supporting cast.

Worth watching, if only to learn exactly what an "extraordinary rendition" means. Interesting insight into American homeland security, but the movie is rather slow paced.

Awesome movie for the politically inclined or those looking for a more cerebral story with clever dialogue. This was a great insight into a US Senator who I knew nothing about, let alone his contribution to the Afghan-Soviet war. This movie is worth watching just for Seymour-Hoffman's portrayal of the straight-talking CIA agent.

Pretty impressive movie that would be enjoyed by tweens and adults. Too scary for young kids, but those nearing teenage years would enjoy. Certainly a lot better than similar movies of this genre such as Golden Compass etc.

I actually quite enjoyed this movie, probably because I heard it was so bad I wasn't expecting much. It was much better than Shyamalan's previous efforts. He hasn't done a decent movie since Sixth Sense. Be warned that it has one of those Sci Fi open, unresolved endings, but the concept was pretty interesting, if rather far fetched.

Actually, I found this movie to be pretty good entertainment. Nothing original or unique here, but it's still a good yearn and escapist stuff. Morgan's performance is the standout in this movie.

Worth a look, pretty good production quality and cinematography. The plot is predictable, but still worth a look to appreciate for some of the great vistas of Australia's outback.

Great performance from Sally Hawkins, but this movie is very light on storyline. It's more about the interactions between quirky characters. Only worth a look if you enjoy quirky humour with not alot going on.

Just aweful. Shyamalan again proves he's a one trick pony with The Sixth Sense. This concept just doesn't work for a movie. Adapting a bedtime fairytale just doesn't work here, the plot and characters just seem plain silly. I could at least sit through Signs, Unbreakable, The Village etc. This is definitely his worst effort by far.

Terrible, depraved movie. Nothing original, standard fare for the torture realm. Only gets a star because I like Elisha Cuthbert. Really, she needs to make better choices in the movies she's in.

Pretty good Sci Fi yearn. Make sure you watch the Original Theatrical version, because the ending of the Alternative version is total crap. Surprising that Will Smith can successfully hold a movie all by his lonesone.

I totally disagree with the movie critics who likened this movie to No Country For Old Men. That movie was far more superior and suspenseful. This movie is just a plain bore. The only saving grace is the excellent acting performances by all the cast.

Superb movie, and it's not even a genre I particularly enjoy. It takes a little while to get going, but stick with it because the payback is well worth it. The Dunkirk scene is breath-taking, taking all in one shot (not cuts) over 5 minutes. It has to be one of the great cinematic achievements. I can't be more enthusiastic in recommending this movie to anyone. This movie will stick with you for a long time. Compulsive viewing.

A classic. The office characters are just hilarious, and may just remind you of one or two people you know.

Superb, Disney spoofing it's own movies. All Disney's over-the-top cliches have been rolled up into one very fun movie. Loved the musical numbers and intentional hammy lines. Very clever.

Interesting subject matter, but delivered in a slow paced, meandering story.The problem here is that the interest lies in the death of George Reeves, but you have to see it through the life of the less interesting character, private detective Simo.

Highly recommended, original movie. Keri Russell is excellent and very likeable. You could argue that the weakness in this movie is the 1-dimensional male characters, but the richness of the main female characters drives this movie.

Quite enjoyed this movie, even though this theme has been done to death. Ordinary family guy pushed into extraordinary circumstances due to the inaction of the justice institutions.

An OK action flick. Problem is there is no new themes to keep you interested here. Not even a "Predalien" hybrid can breathe new life into an old theme.

Very enjoyable movie, and very funny in a cringe-worthy way. O'Toole is superb. Behind the humour, I found the movie to be slightly depressing, as we all face similar ravages of old age. Some scenes with O'Toole's character's pre-occupation with the young girl is also cringe-worthy. Still, well worth the effort to see.

Slow paced and rather boring, which is a shame because it does get better as the movie progresses. My wife fell asleep during this one, which speaks volumes because she's a huge Clooney fan.

Another pretentious effort from Steven Soderbergh. This arrogant director believes audiences will spend money to sit through a 1930s quality, grainy black and white movie for 1 hour 45 mins and applaud his artistry. Someone needs to tell his egocentric that you can still make excellent period pieces using modern cinematography. Too bad, the storyline was OK, but very slow paced. Unimpressed is the word for this mess.

Superb acting performance from Costner and Hurt and this movie a must-see for those who like their thrillers more cerebral. Would have given 5 stars, except for the daughter character stetching the bounds of credibility a little too far. Well worth a watch.

This was a lot better than I expected. Game to film adaptations are normally disappointing affairs, but this movie is quite good for the action sequences alone. Not in the same league as Bourne Supremacy, but still worth a look.

I thought this movie was a little hit and miss. The premise was interesting, but it got a little over-the-top as the movie went on. The precog of all possible scenarios and pathways 2 mins into the future got a little confusing.

Great movie, this one is the better of the 2 Grindhouse movies. A little too much exposition here, a bit slow to get going, but once it does you are really taken along in the ride. Special mention has to go to Kurt Russell, he makes an excellent and menacing foe. Probably the best car chase scenes I've seem for a long, long time.

Dramatic, great acting, but can't say I really enjoy this type of deep, slightly depressing drama. Not particularly uplifting, but well recommend if you like deep, slice of life dramas.

Dustin Hoffman puts in a very charming performance in this very enjoyable movie. The theme has been done before, but still well worth a look.

Best for kids as this movie only operates at the kid level. Adults won't get much out of this, unlike some of the other clever kids films made recently.

I thought this was excellent considering I don't normally like dramas. Cate Blanchett is in her usual top form and really makes this movie. Pacing was a bit slow to get going, but it really cracks along in the second half of the movie.

Fantastic. I started watching Supernatural on TV from Season 2. This is the first time I've seen Season 1, and I have say it's one of the very few programmes that is excellent from the get go.

A clever homage to B-grade movies of the past, complete with degrading film artifacts on the film print etc. Rose McGowan is absolutely fine in this movie and retains a couple of this trademark, sarcastic 1-liners she made her own in Charmed (I wasn't a fan of that show ... honest !). Well worth a look, but you'll need to treat it as an homage to those types of movies in the past.

I missed this doco on TV, so I was glad to get a chance to see it. Excellent glimpse into the life of our finest aviators. Their dedication and love for their job was great to see. Really makes you proud of our air force.

Drama is not quite my cup of tea, but hats off to Cate and Judi for their stunning portrayals here. An absolute must-see if you like drama, especially to see 2 fine actos in top form. Cate is absolutely beautiful as ever.

Erm... don't really know what to make of this movie really. It's like watching a pimply-faced teen playing that PC game Call of Duty. Tons of over the top action and mayhem, none of it really makes sense. Kinda misses the mark for me.

Superb action flick. It's up there at 1st equal this year with Bourne Ultimatum. It's CSI meets Black Hawke Down in Saudi Arabia. Fantastic taunt thriller, tons of great action and excellent cast. Well worth a look.

I hadn't seen this series on TV so this wa my first viewing. Pretty good, probably much more groundbreaking back in it's time. It probably pales in comparison to some of today's TV series such as Lost, Heroes & Supernatural, but it's still worth a look.

Fantastic ! And I don't even like musicals as a rule. Right from the first number this movie oozes positivity and fun. Nikki Blonski is an absolute revelation. It did take me a little time to get used to John Travolta's character, but take everything for fun value and you'll really enjoy this gem of a film.

Would have given this 4 stars, but the movie is let down because it's too long and the convoluted storyline is hard to follow. Excellent action scenes at the climax and a pretty satisfying end to the trilogy.

Hated this movie, it's all dialogue, none of the characters are particularly likeable and the "hero" of the movie is just too obnoxious. I know the movie was designed this way, it just doesn't work for me. Add an overlong cringe-worthy torture scene and you end up with a very unlikeable movie.

After some trepidation about watching an American adaptation of a British classic, I must admit I'm warming to this show. The first season was OK, but now that the characters are established, you get the real payback during this season. Some excellent comedic moments, and Steve Carroll is very, very good. Comedy that will have you in fits of laughter and cringeworthy at the same time !

Not really my cup of tea. Parallel universe, a fracture in time-space continuum, living receivers ... oh the complexity of it all. This movie is sombre, has tons of symbolism and leaves it all up to the imagination of the viewer to explain just what was going on. Only worth a look if you are prepared to work hard to try to fathom it all out. Or, you can look up the web for the numerous interpretations !

Excellent movie, sublime acting performances. His is based on a true story, so don't expect a Hollywood action thrill ride. It's worth watching the maing and doco that accompanies this DVD to get a very accurate portrait of one of America's most notorious double agents.

Excellent movie, bit be aware that it is dark and foreboding for most of the movie. Excellent conclusion to the mystery. I can't begin to imagine what Christain Bale put himself through to prepare physically for this role. He was scarily emaciated, just like those dogs you see in RSPCA rescue.

OK movie, but there are several problems with this film. You couldn't pick the ending because it was very far-fetched and very left-field. Halle Berry plays a fairly unlikeable character - rude, blunt and manipulative. Bruce Willis is the best thing here, playing a very powerful, yet flawed character. Worth a look, but don't expect too much.

Very funny & very light entertainment. Loved Isla Fisher in this, she's very funny and had one of those characters you can't stand, but grow to like as the movie goes on.

Not quite as novel as the first Trekkies film, but still very cringe-worthy. Worth watching to see how some of these fans totally immerse themselves in this universe ... slightly disturbing, but you can see that its all harmless fun. Those home-made Star Trek videos show by fans will really make you cringe.

Great popcorn flick. Would have preferred a bit more characterisation on John Maclean, it's been a while since the last Die Hard outing and there wasn't much explanation about his family. I did have trouble relating to the actor who played the Computer Expert ... I was half expecting the guy to keep reciting his Advert "Hey PC, I'm Mac, What's up ?".

Disturbing subject matter. Very good documentary style because it would be very hard to produce a documentary like this without appearing prejudicial. No voice-overs (unlike Mike Moore's overtly flippant commentary in his films) permits you greater freedom make your own judgements. The footage is pretty damning. Don't blame religion, it's people's delivery of the religious message that's at fault here.

Wonderful movie. I'd give it 5 stars, but I found it a little disjointed at times, especially with the heavy use of subtle flashbacks. A real inspiration to all tenacious battlers striving for social justice.

Very fine movie that transcends it's football theme. It's more about coping and moving on from great loss. Mathew McConaughey does an excellent job and adds that touch of offbeat humour. David Strathairn also puts in a fine performance.

Seriosuly, I think only those people who enjoy going to watch dramatic plays will enjoy this movie. It was clear from the outset it was based on a play - dialogue heavy, meandering pace. Fine acting, but the pace was too slow for a movie.

Wonderfully original film, quite outstanding really. Very oppressive mood and setting at the beginning of the movie, but it just seems to capture your attention as the story develops. Really well acted, Dustin Hoffman and Alan Rickman have excellent supporting roles. Main actor is fairly unknown to me, but he's excellent. Simply unforgettable, and will have you talking about it for some time.

I found this movie drawn-out, pretentious and tediously pompous. The overuse of visual metaphor, interleaved with a parallel fictional storyline to capture the feeling of lost and futility ... it's all just a concocted mess. There more subtle movies out there that capture the theme much better.

I didn't know anything about the Zodiac serial killer, so found this movie interesting. It's a bit too long and it doesn't have a Hollywood ending, so you could feel a little unsatisfied.

Really enjoyed this film. Although not a faithful recreation of aerial combat during those times, it's still a great homage to the bravery of those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Suspend your sense of reality for a while and just sit back and enjoy.

Good light entertainment, especially if you are a fan of Salma and Penelope.

Excellent documentary on the real heroes of Motown. Great live music clips of contemporary artists like Joan Osborne singing Motown hits with the musicianship of the Funk Brothers. Really enjoyed this DVD.

I really enjoyed this movie. An absolute "must see" if you are remotely interested in the art of spin. You find yourself rooting for the guy who you would normally hate because of the lobby he represents.

Excellent only if you have seen and enjoyed the first Clerks. I really enjoyed this movie because I already know the characters from the first Clerks movie, and knew what to expect. I'm not normally a Kevin Smith fan, but still enjoyed seeing the characters again after 10 years. Some hit and miss dialogue, but really enjoyed the LOTR vs Star Wars scene.
