I was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. Whilst the main character was a little unconvincing in terms of sincerity (perhaps thats the point), the other actors are perfect. Without giving too much away, the ending is supercool.

Hard hitting & gritty story about the lasting emotional effects of a difficult childhood told in present time & flashbacks. Great acting all round but absolutely incredible performance by Noomi Rapace. I almost gave it 5 stars, definitely worth 4 1/2 stars

Very well done and as impressive as they book. Life of Pi rewards multiple viewings, but you need to get past the slow start.
