A little slow to get off the ground, but another quirky and entertaining film with the ever so typecast Michael Cera. A great film overall!

A nerdy teenager will do anything to win the girl of his dreams. Although the film tries to be inventive it becomes a little tiresome in its familiarity.

This movie was a masterpiece of what could have been another straightforward teen movie. The parts with stop motion and the quirky lines served to further make this film really funny and enjoyable - with all the actors' great performances adding to the hilarity.

This is a sweet little package movie with bits that are sad (like how can someone be such a neglectful parent), and bits that are cute and heartful. Worth a watch but probably wouldn't watch it over again.

I liked Youth in Revolt. It's one of those movies which at the end makes you think "well, that wasn't bad". Plus it's Michael Cera, it can't be bad (I'm ignoring Extreme Movie when I write that).

the total package. entertaining, humorous script, great soundtrack, brilliant actors! Michael Cera was amazing with his split personality alter ego. well directed. Yes it does have explicit sexual inuendos/ pics/swearing but is in keeping with the story of teens mind sets. fantastic.
