Not really into Dramas a lot, but this sounded interesting, and yes, it was! Thoroughly enjoyed watching it, very emotional and Jack played well by Al Pacino, well worth a watch
Al Pacino played this part to perfection. A very emotional story well worth watching.
I have been waiting for this dvd since may 2012. I have given up and bought it.
Al Pacino gives an absolutely superb, riveting performance in this 2010 HBO production of the biography of Jack Kevorkian.
While the subject matter is difficult to swallow, especially when the assisted suicides begin, the film is done is an exceptionally intelligent matter that focuses on what Kevorkian is attempting to do in his role as an angel of mercy to assist those suffering with terminal illnesses. Susan Sarandon is excellent in the role of Pacino's aide who falls victim to a terminal illness. Brenda Vaccaro is equally good as Pacino's sister, a woman who believed in what he was doing but didn't have the sense to call a doctor when she was suffering a heart attack.
A slow movie but worth watching - Al Pacino was amazing
Al Pacino was brilliant playing Dr Dead, Jack. Enjoyed this true story.
Great acting. Very interesting.
Definitely not a feel-good movie! Very intense subject matter but Al Pacino was brilliant. Deals with the subject of euthanasia bordering on suicide.
Scary stuff, Al Pacino was absolutely fantastic. What a great portrayal. A subject that is close to all of us who have watched a loved one die in agony after being refused 'help'.
Fascinating and horrifying insight into the life of Dr Kevorkian. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and made me think seriously about what he was actually doing.
Although it only shows only the most emotive patients and leaves out a lot of the facts it is still surprisingly well balanced.
Very well made & acted. Too frighteningly real for entertainment though.
a fantastic very intence story very well acted, about a Dr who,s passionet belief that people should have the right to die, when all other avenues have been exausted to a cure their illeness
