XANADU is a look at the future and a loving remembrance of the way things were in the heyday of Hollywood. The musical score includes the hit songs "Magic," "I'm Alive," "All Over The World," "Suddenly," and the title song "XANADU". Olivia Newton-John, the screen's newest love goddess, will dazzle your senses with her luminous beauty and beautiful voice. She and Gene Kelly star in this dazzling musical fantasy. The 40s meets the 80s in XANADU, a very special love story and the first lavish, old-fashioned musical to utilise today's music.

Love the music and ONJ! The story is quite weak, the costumes way-out and the lack of a real story are nothing compared to the musical hits by the Electric Light Orchestra, John Farrar and ONJ's singing are definitely worth watching this classic early 80's popular movie!

My memory of this movie was more flattering, but Olivia Newton John was gorgeous.

A disaster. The critics were right about this one! Only Gene Kelly saves it from getting NO stars. What a sad end for such a great performer.

Been a long time since I saw this one, and it was very enjoyable. There is a weak story line about boy meets girl, boy can't have girl, and in the end gets the girl or does he? Unfortunately for Michael Beck, he did not make an impact in this movie although you see he had talent but the director did not pull it out. A not too serious movie to watch when there is nothing else.

If you love a musical this the one for you. Too long in the shadow of Grease. A classic.
