The X-Men, mutant heroes sworn to defend a world that hates and fears them, must face evolution itself in the shape of their former teammate, Jean Grey (Famke Janssen). Possessed with the cosmic power of the Dark Phoenix, the resurrected Jean Grey has become a danger to herself, her mutant comrades and the entire planet. To stave off this imminent threat to humanity, a potential cure is discovered and processed to treat – and ultimately eliminate – genetic mutations once and for all.

As the battle lines are drawn, the X-Men, led by Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart), are aided by new recruits like The Beast (Kelsey Grammer) and Angel (Ben Foster). Together, they must contend with Grey’s new powers, as well as the malevolent Brotherhood – a band of powerful mutants organised under Xavier’s former all, Magneto (Ian McKellen).

Enjoyed this. Found all three movies in this series entertaining, though I guess you sort of know what to expect by the third one.

Loud, overblown, silly story, overrated. I cleaned the house whilst it was on. The only life this franchise has left is to focus on the individual's stories, as per Wolverine.

My first X-men movie to be seen and I thought I wasn't going to be able to follow it but it was great! Lots of action, special effects and happy with the story line it kept me watching it. So many well know actors in it too. Looking forward to seeing all the other X-men movies. A new fan!

Like all the 2 other X-Men movie this one was just as good and it did not fail to keep you glued to your seat. I just loved this movie as much as i did the first two. It is worth a watch if you like action movies as that is what this is full of ACTION!!

Over all its just a fun movie. Wasn't very impressed with the ending, or how they portrayed the juggernaut. however, the beast played by kelsey grahmar is great and ice man finally turns into his icy form. If you havent seen this movie by now you're probably just not a comic book fan or fan of these movies but it is a great action/adventure. Wouldn't recommend this one for younger kids though as some scenes are quite brutal.

disappointing it was more a wolverine movie than x-men it was good to see the beast dr maccoy though some of the x-men only made a cameo appearance like cyclops and rouge. i didnt like the way jean grey character developed in this movie nor did i like the death of some of our favorite x-men but i will always be a fan of the animated series.

A disappointment after the first two movies. Pretty much one action sequence after another. The other films explored the characters as human beings but in this one there was no sense of that, it was pretty much the characters as providers of special effects. Famke Janssen was completely wasted as the havoc-wreaking zombie Phoenix. Storm and Wolverine got more screen time but again just for the FX. What did we learn about them that we didn't know before? Nothing. The other movies weren't just mindless action, they made you think, this one was definitely not in the same league.

In my opinion, not up to the same standard of the first two, but it is fun to watch if you enjoyed them. Constantly amazed with how far special effects have progressed.

Loved it, as I have the others in the series. Great storyline with lots of action and adventure. I was particularly impressed with the music score in this film. They all have been good but this one just seemed to stand out in terms of enhancing the film.

As a stand alone popcorn actioner, it's not too bad if you can ignore the irritating plot holes and enjoy the set pieces. As a follow up to the impressive second film, very poor. Everything achieved in that film is almost undone here. Disappointing and easily the worst X-Men film of the three.

Spectacular effects, but the script was written by and for 12 year old boys. Cliche ridden mess! Watch it for the visuals but really, just leave the brain behind.

Special effects are brilliant, and it's a good storyline - although not as involving as the first in the franchise. Make sure you watch till the very end of the credits for an extra scene!

I thought this X-Men was excellent because there were more characters & when Gene came back the storyline made sense. The movie was a lot darker then previous ones & because of that this movie was closer to the comic strip then the other movies, finally storm did so amazing stunts, I loved it & can't wait until the next instalment!!!.
