The Wiz! The Stars! The Music! 40 years later and they cant improve on original, sad effort, don;t bother with this and watch original instead.

Never seen this before, the kids loved it!! Did ight over the fact that, YES the scarecrow was Michael Jackson and Yes he once was black!!

This was the worst remake/adaption ever!! It was a black version of the well loved and famous white Wizard of OZ. I thought it may be good because of michael jackson and diana ross.. Clearly not. The songs were innappropriate and so was the weak storyline.

I couldn't remember most of this but it was quite a fun experience, however some of the early scenes do go on a lot longer than needed the costumes and lighting are great it is a real treat to have this one in your library.
