In this feel-great charmer, Sophie Marceau stars as Margaret, a high-powered business woman who manages her career with steely determination. But on her 40th birthday, a provincial solicitor sends her a package of old, forgotten letters she wrote to herself when she was seven, what the French refer to as'the age of reason. Re-reading them one by one, Margaret plunges back into the hidden memories of that hopeful young girl… but they cast doubt on all her certainties and make her revisit her life choices. As much as I adore French cinema, this movie just had something amiss. It was jilted in pace and became quite ridiculous.

It's quirky, well done and different, but something about it just wasn't right. Maybe I wasn't in the right mood, I just didn't find it interesting or funny.
