I enjoyed this movie very much. I would recommend it to anyone. You don't have to be a tennis expert to enjoy it.

A nice little romantic movie. Not earth-shatteringly brilliant, and just a little predictable or formulaic, but has added interest if you're a fan of tennis. At first I felt it was trying to be the 'poor second cousin' to 4 Weddings or Love Actually, with the lead actor acting incredibly like Hugh Grant might, but later he gathered his own personality, charisma and momentum.

it's a ROMATIC COMEDY - so i will review it it's genre - the other review were pretty bad. i LOVED this movie... as a ROMANTIC COMEDY, it has british humour, a great female lead, good sound track and a bit of sport - i loved it and would recommend for any girl who liked "how to loose a guy in 10 days" sort of movies

Not sure I would agree with Colt's sentiments at the end of the film, where he said that nothing can possibly come close to winning Wimbledon, except, maybe, having his own family. I guess it depends where your priorities lay. A pretty ordinary film all up.

A predictable but simple movie. Well acted and for a light-hearted watch well worth the time. Hard to give a movie of this ilk anything higher than three stars but the fact I gave it three stars means I enjoyed it

Paul Bettany is a wonderful actor. Well done. Came upon his talents as an orator in A knights Tale so wasn't disappointed. Entertaining movie most of the time. Too bad Kirsten Dunst was the other actor. Good british film with good british humour but only the brits could get away with such silliness. Predictable but fun and really long doco after the movie gives good insight into digital enhancements.

Bit of a non-event,looked like it was written for Hugh Grant, but I guess he's too short for a tennis player, & Paul Bettany just can't do a 'Hugh'.

The story line is quite predictable - girl meets boy and falls in love and they both live happily ever after. The theme of wimbledon adds a little to the story but unless you are a tennis fan of some sort, it would be a bit of a bore.

Dind't watch to the end as after 40 minutes there was absolutely no story or plot. Mildly humourous listening to the British actors and the self-depreciating style that they have but not enough to make up for a pretty average film.
