I enjoyed this movie very much. I would recommend it to anyone. You don't have to be a tennis expert to enjoy it.
Qite entertaining,good tennis shots.Reasonable story.Well acted.
I really enjoyed this British romantic comedy! Good acting and lighthearted, feel good fun.
Seen before, my GF wanted to see it. I still don't like it.
A nice little romantic movie. Not earth-shatteringly brilliant, and just a little predictable or formulaic, but has added interest if you're a fan of tennis. At first I felt it was trying to be the 'poor second cousin' to 4 Weddings or Love Actually, with the lead actor acting incredibly like Hugh Grant might, but later he gathered his own personality, charisma and momentum.
it's a ROMATIC COMEDY - so i will review it it's genre - the other review were pretty bad. i LOVED this movie... as a ROMANTIC COMEDY, it has british humour, a great female lead, good sound track and a bit of sport - i loved it and would recommend for any girl who liked "how to loose a guy in 10 days" sort of movies
An inspiring, hart warming love story set in Wimbleton with a happy ending.
Not sure I would agree with Colt's sentiments at the end of the film, where he said that nothing can possibly come close to winning Wimbledon, except, maybe, having his own family. I guess it depends where your priorities lay. A pretty ordinary film all up.
A predictable but simple movie. Well acted and for a light-hearted watch well worth the time. Hard to give a movie of this ilk anything higher than three stars but the fact I gave it three stars means I enjoyed it
Worth watching, loved the tennis, great movie.
I was just reading some other reveiws on this movie and they must have givin' it a real chance because I thought it was that boring I didn't even finish it..
An easy watching enjoyable movie with moments of suspense at times.
Paul Bettany is a wonderful actor. Well done. Came upon his talents as an orator in A knights Tale so wasn't disappointed. Entertaining movie most of the time. Too bad Kirsten Dunst was the other actor. Good british film with good british humour but only the brits could get away with such silliness. Predictable but fun and really long doco after the movie gives good insight into digital enhancements.
It was a good movie. Pretty quirky. i like Kirstan Dunst anyway
Again another light hearted comedy and romance - enjoyed it.
Bit of a non-event,looked like it was written for Hugh Grant, but I guess he's too short for a tennis player, & Paul Bettany just can't do a 'Hugh'.
Not a huge tennis fan, but enjoyed this movie.....
romantic, predictable comedy. this film does not offer anything new
a romance for those that are into tennis
The story line is quite predictable - girl meets boy and falls in love and they both live happily ever after. The theme of wimbledon adds a little to the story but unless you are a tennis fan of some sort, it would be a bit of a bore.
Not that interesting.... Very predictable.
"feel good" movie. Rank outsider makes good. Pleasant lazy sunday afternoon movie to watch.
Very enjoyable light movie
Okay if you don't have anything else to do.
Get the girls, white chocolate, bottles of wine and settle in. A feel good movie (the wine and chocolate helped).
A beautiful love story with some good special features.
Really liked this movie! the story and actors.. a really feel good movie!
not bad,I like the movie beacause I like this kind a story. I think it's worth watching it.
Enjoyable, good humour in this film. Interesting that Pat Cash was their tennis consultant!
Not too bad, nice special effects.
Very predictable and bit corny.
Very good worth watching.
very pleasant movie to watch
Very well casted. A kind of Notting Hill/Love Actually feel to it. Enough laughs to keep you interested.
Light, cute, predictable.
cool special effects; usually sporting movies are pretty average, but this one generated suspense and interest for the characters; good cast; leave your brain at the door; good escapism
Believable story line even if you dont know tennis, not a movie you can watch over that often but is well worth a watch.
The reviews had not been brilliant, but just a nice movie about boy meets girl and it happens to be put together around Wimbledon, certainly not too much tennis.
An enjoyable light hearted romantic comedy that most would enjoy.
This is definately a must if you loved Notting Hill, Four Weddings & Funeral, Bridget Jones, Love Actually, etc. I loved it and it's a real "feel good" flick.
Watchable but I thought this was a bit ordinary!
Average and predictable but pleasant enough.
Entertaining, pretty predictable story, pleasant for a relaxing evening.
Dind't watch to the end as after 40 minutes there was absolutely no story or plot. Mildly humourous listening to the British actors and the self-depreciating style that they have but not enough to make up for a pretty average film.
Enjoyable feel good movie.
Definitely worth renting
