Four middle-aged men (Tim Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, William H. Macy) decide to take a road trip from Cincinnati to the Pacific in order to get away from their lives which are leading them nowhere. Taking their motorcycles, these "Wild Hogs" tear up the road and eventually stop in New Mexico for a drink not knowing that the bar belongs to the "Del Fuegos", a mean biker gang. When the Del Fuegos steal a bike that belongs to the Wild Hogs, the four men form a plan to steal their bike back, but end up blowing up the bar instead.

This is such a funny movie. The "big" names are great but William H. Macey steals the show - until you get to the end credits when support actor Kevin Durand, comes out of left field and gives us one of the most hilarious scenes I've ever watched. Great fun.

This movie marks a mid-career crisis for the lead actors John Travolta, Tim Allen, William H. Macy and Martin Lawrence! The only reason I can think of that any of this actors signed onto this embarrasing "comedy" was to pay the bills or maybe they were just bored. It's really sad seeing them all reduced to middle aged bikers, I mean REALLY? They should've known better!

Even though I agree with critics 99% of the time, I have to say that I oppose what they've said about this movie. It's no Kubrick masterpiece, but it has a cool premise, lovable characters and great jokes. Even if there are cliches, they are enjoyable cliches. Just go in expecting a funny movie and hopefully you'll get just that.

I unexpectedly liked this. The four guys are good. The first half is especially funny - the second half loses the plot somewhat but stick around for the ending (loved the Extreme Makeover of the bike gang's pub).

I actually went to the cinemas to watch this...
Look, it's the type of movie you watch if you want cheap laughs and silly jokes; it's a very 'light' movie. Not totally bad though, the actors are of very high category and they definitely make it worth the watch.
Just not $15.00 worth the watch.

Incredibly funny and a movie I could relate well to (as an old biker myself!) and had a lot of fun with. One of those "feel good" movies that will become a definate classic. I loved it so much that I plan to buy it for my DVD collection!!
Do NOT miss the "camp"ing moment with the cop and his reaction to some very innocent remarks. But then again try not to miss ANY of this movie, as there is so many hilarious moments.

A pretty painful, cliche'd start to this movie as it establishes the premise for the story- mid life crisis suburban guys with a need to get out there and do something. So they take a road trip on their Harleys. Thank god for the quality of the cast-Travolta, Allen, Macey, Lawrence and Liotta who carry this off as well as they can. In the end an enjoyable and harmless light comedy. Just don't expect too much.

While the 4 male actors are in their own right fantastic character actors, this was not one of their better choices. Very few laughs and hard to figure who their targetted audience was. Only worth watching if you like bikes (?)

Well, we were a bit disappointed. It was mildly funny, and easy to watch, but these big name comedians were just not nearly as funny as we'd expected. Kind of the same jokes repeated too many times throughout...often groan-worthy. The storyline seemed to be a cross between City Slickers and Without a Paddle, (but with motercycles) but wasn't nearly as funny or clever as either of those movies. (Without a Paddle was dumb too, but we found it funnier and the characters more likeable.)

The first 20mins of the movie was a bit boring as they were describing the 4 main characters in their mid life crisisses, until the boys finally hit the road. This is a light hearted comedy for all the family, even though it features Harleys, Bikers and Bikies. The funniest moment for me was when they where skinny dipping in the spring near the waterfall and then a family drives up. Later they accidently burn down the Del Fuegos bikie gang's clubhouse and they want revenge and have a showdown in the town of Madrid.

Despite my low expectations this film still managed to fall well short of what I expected. It is a dreadfully slow and pointless film that is simply not funny. As in indication as to how bored I was, I found myself wondering if I'd left my stove on or forgot to activate the house alarm before leaving whilst watching the movie.
