It's the fall of 1973 and 16 year old Madeline and her 14 year old sister Daisy move with their recently widowed father to Cape Cod from D.C. Everything seems fabulous in this idyllic beach community, until one night Madeline and her high school friends sneak out to an underground disco and there they see something that will change their lives forever. This very different night catapults into a series of momentous life-changing events that forces the girls to find a way to hang on to life with their dad. Maybe Dad isn’t so bad after all.

The film just didn't come together well, forced acting meets very amateur attempt to deal with the "issue" of gay people in our community, most of the movie sympathising with our presumable fear and loathing of "homosexuals", and finally the film manages to see some good in the individual. Maybe this is an attempt to educate the viewer not to be such a bigot, but that was unnecessary for this viewer.

I could only watch the first 20 minutes of this Movie before switching it off, it just came across as very non-realistic and completely boring!
