Although I found it interesting it left me with unanswered questions, as this doco tended to tell you a small piece of info then play background music while a few scenes played out. There were a lot of parts that could have used some more information to explain exactly what was happening - although I sort of guessed for the most part, it would have been nice to have my theories confirmed or enlightened.

Great Scenery!! Fantastic to watch but not overly informative. Still definitely recommend though, apparently it took 3 yrs of recording to make this doco and you could tell! GREAT!

Does not deserve 3 star rating!! OK doco. Pretty and magnificent and informative; taught me stuff about whales I didnt know, but plenty else like it out there.

Music was really really horrible and distracted from the overall documentary - I ended up fast forwarding most of it just to see the animals...

For lovers of nature documentaries. you won't be disappointed by this one, apart from the dreadful music used throughout. Really bad choices and distracting rather than adding to the stunning camera work. The polar bears, the narwhals and the humpack whales feeding was amazing footage.

The White Planet was an amazing voyage of discovery into the plights of all life in one of our harshest environments. The scenery was breathtaking and the insite to the animal life was wonderful. It was most enjoyable and educational. I recommend it to all ages.

Good camera work let down by so-so editing/compiling. Loved the animals and the scenery.

The spectacular scenery and wonderful footage of the animals ~ including a Polar bear giving birth was ruined by the most god awful soundtrack. More narration, less music would have made this a film not to be missed.

I thought this movie was really worth watching. Although your mind sometimes wonders off, it makes you think about what is happening to the animals over there and about how global warming is affecting things. The music was really good. I thought it could have gone a little longer. Oh and the baby animals looked really cute.
