This movie was hard to watch. Hard because it makes you think. This sort of thing is really happening, and nothing is heard about it. Not a feel good movie, but definitely one to see if you are in a 'happy place' first.

Why one star for this otherwise excellent movie? The dialogue is mostly not comprehensible and there are no subtitles. Modern film makers have lost the plot. Good advice has always been if you want to be heard speak clearly. Sadly this appears to be no longer the case. My hearing's OK by the way.

Such a sad story and a sad reality > certainly sparked my desire to support anti-trafficking causes. Four stars for raising awareness!

Not a great movie, but an interesting one about a horrible and apparently rapidly growing crime. I missed a lot of the dialogue because there were no subtitles and the sound wasn't great.

A disturbing film on many levels: The atrocities perpetrated in the Balkan Penninsula, the ineptitude and hyprocrisy of the UN and the pain and suffering the USA unwittingly causes when it naively blunders into other counties in the name of peace, justice and the American Way. In this case, the US is personified by a Nebraskan beat cop who decided the peace-keeping mission wasn't for her and set about tackling the Bosnian judicial system, the UN mandate and wholesale corruption in Bosnia and the UN.

A pretty gripping thriller - if you can buy it that the central character (American policewoman assigned to UN peacekeepers) can be this naive. You find yourself saying, 'What did you expect?'

The UN is interfeering in foreighn countries where they should not be. This film shows what this action does to the local population and the corruption is causes. I hope the perpetraters got their just deserts!!!

A very harrowing and unnecessary movie. I'm a big fan of Rachel Weisz , but in this movie she is very wooden and looks as tho she wants to be somewhere else. The story needed to be told but this movie botches the task

Excellent movie. Well produced, full of suspense, great acting and a gripping story based on a true event. The context of the story and setting is in the wake of the Bosnian Serbian conflict and focuses on the condoned trafficking of young females from eastern Europe. Thought provoking since this proved to be ongoing at that time.

This movie is extemely disturbing to watch and know that this really happened. Do not watch if you have young daughters or teenage girls. I felt sick to the stomache after and had to watch something funny to get it off my mind. Otherwise, it was a good movie if you can handle watching horrible events.

A shocking, haunting tale of abuse, more abuse and human trafficking made even more shocking in that those who are meant to protect are not only abusers but traffickers and made more haunting in that this is based on a true story. A dedicated cop takes a UN job as an observer in Bosnia so that she can get the money to move closer to her children. Frustrated by the observer status she gets the first conviction of a domestic violence victim working with a local cop. This turns to a promotion. In turn she becomes aware of the human trafficking firstly believing that UN observers are ignorant or passively aware of women forced into prostitution. But they appear in photographs as active participants. Further investigation and she finds that they are actively involved in the trafficking and prostitution. This film had me incredulous and frustrated; her frustration rubs off as the UN chain of command denies the goings on and we discover that the perpetrators will return home without any action taken against them. In fact action is against her. Do NOT watch this if you have a weak stomach or if you have no respect for human dignity!

To be honest I didn't finish the movie. Not because it was not good, but because there were some very confronting scenes in the movie that I thought were a little too realistic and very upsetting. Perhaps the movie struck a chord because it actually happens.

Another excellent movie which did not make the headlines. The atrocities of war and what the participants become for being involved with it should be a lesson for all. Instead we prefer to watch the Twilight series or Harry Potter and keep on making the same in-human mistakes again and again. Recommended viewing if you have a heart and the courage to say enough is enough

Quite a good film but it just missed the mark. Some scenes seemed to be rushed to complete out the story. I admired the the cop from Nebraska. She had guts!!

It was okay. It shows how corruption can completely ruin a society. The movie seemed to lack something, which I can't quite put my finger on, but it is worth a look!

Unbelievable. A truly horrible true story told with panache – if anything, it's just a little too entertaining for the subject. You will be outraged.

It started off a bit unconvincingly but got better from midway. It's an important story to be told, but it could have been told better in this case. The pacing was a bit off, and the story wasn't as strong as I was hoping. Nice performance by Weisz - she's good in these roles.

An entertaining film in which the dog is certainly a star attraction. The acting is quite good, perhaps a little stereotyped. The WA Pilbara outback landscapes are interesting. An endearing story.
