Actors: Meg Ryan, Billy Crystal, Carrie Fisher, Bruno Kirby

"Brimming over with style, intelligence, and flashing wit" (Rolling Stone), this "splendid and irresistible" (Los Angeles Times) film from director Rob Reiner (The American President) is one of the best-loved romantic comedies of all time. Featuring dazzling performances from Meg Ryan, Billy Crystal, Carrie Fisher, and Bruno Kirby, exceptional music from Harry Connick Jr., and an Oscar nominated screenplay by Nora Ephron, When Harry Met Sally is an "explosively funny" (Newsweek) commentary on friendships, courtships - and other hardships - of the modern age.

Will sex ruin a perfect relationship between a man and a woman? That's what Harry (Crystal) and Sally (Ryan) debate during their trip from Chicago to New York. And eleven years later, they're still no closer to finding the answer. Will these two best friends ever accept that they're meant for each other... or will they continue to deny the attraction that's existed since the first moment when Harry Met Sally?

My wife loved it. First Quickflix movie she has seen for ages. The kids even got it into it a little. Has not dated, even when done years ago.

This movie has a good storyline, but is not something that is appropriate to watch for anyone who has principles and values. My daughter and I sat down to watch it, and she at the same time as meet said, "turn it off, it is filth", and she is a teenager. People don't want suggestive stuff, they just want good, clean movies.

Billy Crystal is superb in this role. The dialogue between Billy & Meg is brilliant. Gets you thinking about the true meaning of a relationship.

Still an absolute classic. Watched it many years ago and thought it might have dated but it hasn't at all. And my wife who some how missed out on it the first time around loved it. Also what was absolutely fascinating was the special feature on the making of, when the director and the writer discussed how they used and balanced their own very gender-oriented perceptions and experiences to achieve emotional authenticity and totally convincing characters. Great stuff!.

Better than I'd expected. I usually loathe Meg Ryan, but she was okay here (pity about the wardrobe, though, and the ridiculous hair). Billy Crystal was himself. There were too many stupid lines to make this a truly enjoyable film.

good to watch, both actor/actress played their parts very well, though thought it went on a bit around in circles

An over-hyped dissapointing film in which the two leading actors,- Meg Ryan and Billy Crystaly come across as far from endearing characters.

Saw it at the movies, liked it then and still thought it was good the 2nd time around. A sort of reluctant love story, at first over 5 year intervals. Billy and Sally play great roles, you could almost think it to be for real.

A reasonably funny movie, light entertainment. Not like other films I have seen that leave you thinking about them for time to come.
