The West Wing - Season 1 - Disc 1 (1999)

Compared to later episodes there is not as much detail but was still interesting.

Really excellent series with an exceptionally good cast that for once really fit the roles assigned to them. Love it!

I have never been a great fan of American series-apart, that is, from Mash and, possibly, Hill Street Blues, however this West Wing show has to be one of the greatest ever. I didn't discover it until late - either the last or second last series - but it became compulsive viewing! The acting is superb, storylines very strong and production in general is excellent. Glad that I could catch up on some of the earlier series via QuickFlix

Great to see the beginning of a series which I have always loved. I was unable to catch it when it first aired on T.V. but found that none of the appeal was lost by viewing Season1 on Big Pond while watching Season 6 on ABC.

Good casting/stories and a different take on the white house in these first 2 series. Makes you wish Bartlett would run against Bush.

Kept us rivited to our seats - great cast, excellent script. Recommended viewing
