Awesome action comedy that is fast paced and fun! Well done to the scriptwriters for alot of great tongue in cheek laughs and a terrific cast!!

Great action / comedy flick with The Rock and Seann William Scott as the stars and they do a great job with the perfect blend of action and comedy. Very Good movie-a must see.

You have to ask yourself why? The rock was sooooooo much better in the 'Scorpion King'

Who can watch a movie with "The Rock" in it and not like it. The Chemistry on screen between the two main characters was great. A light hearted, funny, and action filled movie that the whole family would like. 3 Paws.

If you love the Rock in pro-wrestling, you'll love this show. Plenty of action and fun to be had. Escapism and slapstick humour at its near best. Definitely worth 2 hours of your time.

As action pics go, this is one of the better ones. The Rock does not take himself too seriously, which is a refreshing change from most of these action blockbusters. The stunts "tip their hats" to The Matrix, and Crouching Tiger etal...

If your not into story lines, and more into cool fights, not to mention the Rock, then this is for you. A typical guys flick, but enjoyable nonsense!

average action / adventure

The special effects are totally overdone. No one could survive a beating like the Rock is getting. All in all, its a funny tale of getting a kid back from the jungle and of hidden treasure. Very entertaining if not taken too seriously

This was the best action comedy I've seen in a long time! It doesn't take itself too seriously (which always helps) and is at times quite reminiscent of the Indiana Jones movies. The performances are great, the setting amazing and some of the tracking shots.....wow! Fans of the Rock won't be disappointed, there is real talent behind the wrestling facade. There are some good making of's and quite a few of them in the extras department, however the commentary with the Rock and director Peter Berg is more like two guys sitting around shooting the breeze than telling you anything interesting. A good, fun, entertaining movie....just watch out for those monkeys!!
