Lena (Karoline Herfurth, Perfume: Story of a Murderer) is a troubled young woman from the wrong part of town. Antisocial and self destructive, Lena is caught in dead end life until she meets Louise. Beautiful and glamorous, Louise is everything Lena is not and Lena cannot help but be flattered by her attention and her promise of a new life and family. A life of power and excitement. A life that will never ever end. A sexy, suspenseful and adrenaline pumping vampire film, We Are the Night is an edgy tale of a provocative gang of female vampires living large, making their own rules and leaving a merciless trail of blood.

Great vampire movie. Kind of Lost Boys meets Sex in the City meets The Hunger.

I quite enjoyed this ' German vampiress unless we want to eat after sex' flick. Actually rather intriguing & different. Then comes a cop trying to catch 'pick-pocket' vampess, but falls for aforementioned, even more so when she finally confronts him with the truth of her 'being', which drives her to no longer want to be 'a vampire'. Happy ending (of course) all round, (after all the blood-letting). All in all I figure it's worth watching, good entertainment done only as Europe could.

What a great surprise. I enjoy vampire and horror movies but i do get disappointed when the dvd cover and description make the movie look better than it is. This movie stays faithful to vampire rules regarding sunlight and mirrors, has fantastic music and action scenes. This story brings new ideas into the vampire genre. I enjoyed all the characters, but Nora was my favourite. I would call this a vampire movie not a horror movie. I loved this movie.
