Mild themes, coarse language and sporting violence

Director: Michael F. Sears
Actors: Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Gabrielle Anwar, Chord Overstreet, William Mapother

In shock and denial over his Marine father's death in battle, star lacrosse player Conor Sullivan, always a maverick and a hothead, starts acting out in self-destructive ways that have his mum, Claire, at her wit's end. But arduous training in a wilderness lacrosse camp under the tutelage of his dad's old combat buddy, Sgt. Major Duke Wayne, opens Conor's eyes to the true meaning of maturity, sportsmanship and manhood.

Pretty bland movie. Kellan Lutz basically spent a lot of time looking good with his shirt off. Hard to get really involved with any of the characters. It wasn't a horrible movie, I just really lost interest after a while. Hard to believe that someone can turn their life around just by knocking down a cabin for a week. Seemed a bit disjointed, hopping from bit to bit without really getting involved with what they are doing.

Absolutely loved this movie. Between a chick flick and movie your man could watch with you (without being bored)...... A bit of everything love story/la cross sport/indian legend/loss of a father an mentor.
