During the fabled warring states era of Chinese history, two young rival strategists Sun Bin (Son Hong-Lei) and Pang Juan (Frances Ng) rise through the ranks of the Wei army, their brilliance only matched by their mutual hatred. Pang eventually becomes the top Wei military leader yet despite his success he becomes jealous of Sun's close bond with their joint mentor. Pang frames Sun for treason and attempts to manipulate him into giving up his military secrets but Sun escapes, fleeing to the neighbouring Qi state. The brilliantly witted Sun ascends the Qi army, quickly becoming their ultimate military mind. War erupts between the two states, as Sun and Pang lead their respective armies against one another for complete superiority or utter annihilation. CHINESE LANGUAGE WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES

Two hours of a quite disjointed storyline with seemingly ransom pieces of leftover film cut into the story....
Better Chinese war stories out there, don't waste your time with this one.

This movie was not worth watching, Asia meets CGI big-time and gets it so wrong. Not much good to say about it, at all.
