Vincent suffers from Tourette's Syndrome and, after his mother's death, is institutionalised by his father. He ultimately escapes with two fellow patients - an anorexic named Marie and the obsessive-compulsive Alexander. His mission is simple. He wants to bury his mother's ashes in the seas off Italy, as was her dying wish. But to get there, he and his friends steal their doctor's car. If caught, it could all be quite an embarassment for Vincent's politician father. But the real problem is that Vincent and his friends threaten to drive each other crazy.

A quirky little movie about quirky people. If only we weren't so quick to judge people who are different the world would probably be a lot more fun. I enjoyed this, it's a bit sad but funny too and I laughed a lot. It's so good to watch a movie where you don't recognise any of the actors.

Quite an interesting movie about a young man with autism rejected by his family because of it and his escape from the institution they put him in together with a couple of friends he made there who have their share of problems too.

The Europeans , particularly the Scandinavians , make great films and aren't afraid to tackle difficult subjects - this film looks deeper into Tourettes Syndrome as well as anorexia and OCD - funny and sad in equal amounts

I had no idea this was a foreign language film... That said, I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed this movie. It was different and it was refreshing to see this kind of take on less explored social conditions, such as Tourettes. The way the movie shone a little light on what Vincent's life was like living with Tourettes, his relationship difficulties (familial, romantic & friendships), and Vincent's unintended journey towards freedom is approached with humour, sensitivity and humanity. An engaging German film that tells a heartwarming story in the tradition of non-Hollywood filmmaking.

Unlike French ones, German movies released in Australia are few and far between, so even a relatively average German movie, like this one, is interesting to see. Essentially a road movie with English songs (why?), in which we get to like these disparate characters, each with their own problems and peculiarities, whether they are patients or not. The ending is suitably vague, but perhaps not a happy one.
