This is an animated movie along the quality of Sat morning 50s type animation. We lasted 5mins and then spent some time trying to find the real movie - to no avail indeed this was it - a bitterly disappointing experience. Nothing redeeming unless you count an extra featuring the making of the original movie of Van Helsing - we did enjoy the original movie. We think this should be titled `hellsing'

The movie was good thought it might be worth checking out the prequel. Turns out I was wrong.

Short and mediocre animation. Interesting enough but would have preferred if it was longer and the storyline not so unbelievable even within it's genre. Bit lame but didn't completely dislike it.

I was also expecting a real movie, not an animation. It was worth a look, but more of a DVD extra than a movie in it's own right. Kinda disappointing.

I had read the reviews prior to viewing this program and was therefore not expecting a lot but I did enjoy it. It was very short and the story line a bit stilted but entertains none the less.

Thought this was the ACTUAL movie, but didn't realise this was the animation prequel. I didn't bother watching it and make sure if you want the real movie, this isn't it.

30 minute animated prequel to the movie - quite good as a cartoon, but a bit "why bother?" because of what it had to add to the movie storyline (ie. not much). A feature-length cartoon might have been able to give something to the Van Helsing story, but not this distraction.

I didn't realise this was an animated prequel to the movie, I thought this was ACTUALLY the movie so I watched the cartoon thinking it was only the beginning. This cartoon was boring! I will make sure I read everything before I hire
