Not bad. Plenty of gritty characters and some mean fighting action. Gets a bit eclipsed by the emotional story line for a while but then it finds its mark again. Hoskins is in fine form.

Despite the rough behaviour, Unleashed is a great film. Jet Li and Morgan Freeman take the story well beyond a WWF special.

I am a fan of Jet Li, however not all martial arts movies are as well crafted as was this story.
Conditioned by living with dogs for several years Jet Li's character is taken into toe by a crook who uses his amazing martial arts skills to collect money.
His awakening to the virtues of a family are delightful to watch.

Jet Li's performance in this is a stand-out - a martial arts hero that can actually act. And the fight scenes are terrific, although there is a bit of a gap between them once he escapes his "leashed" life. Morgan Freeman channels Ray Charles and does it well, of course.

Tough, tender, violent,gentle, all in one movie. Great fight scenes of course but there's more to this movie than that — a real story with real heart. With a cast headed by Bob Hoskins. Jet Li and Morgan Freeman you can't go wrong.

I expected this to be a martial arts movie resting on a poor plot. I was pleasantly surprised.
This might dissapoint some martial arts fans. This movie was plot driven with a nice moral at the end. The fights while good are far and few between.

We loved this movie. Jet Li is great as usual and the fight scenes are fast and furious. Jet Li is forced to fight by his "owner" and we get to see how he got into this awful situation. It was really well done.
