This is a cut version of the original, with male full-frontal nudity mostly removed, but a great story, and some very clever, understated acting.

You must remember this is a 1980's movie, so for it's time it was pretty "sexy", compared with what is allowed on the screen today! The storyline is typical, nothing new there! Funny to remember the clothes, hairstyles, music of the time. I shuddered when I recall I use to wear some of those fashions!!

saw this on video about 17 years ago & thought it was great. just added it to my queue for another look. not just a "chick flick", but not for the kiddies either.

There are some surprisingly well known people in supporting roles here, and there are aspects that are quite pretty. The cinematography is good and Sherilyn Fenn is beautiful even if she is supposed to look like Madonna. Best of all you get to see Screaming Jay Hawkins in most of his glory.
Dont expect a story though.

The best ranchy love movie. Sherilyn Fenn is stunning as she strikes a part deep down in most ladies, her partner is equally great as he play's a real male as raw as it gets. It also showed that ladies together can make a leathal combination.
