Tucker and Dale VS Evil is a hilarious comedy about a pair of harmless hillbillies who are mistaken for vicious serial killers. Tucker (Alan Tudyk) and Dale (Tyler Labine) are headed towards their newly acquired dream 'summer home' when they save the life of a gorgeous college student (Katrina Bowden) who's camping in the woods with some friends. Before long a series of misunderstandings leads to Tucker and Dale being labelled psycho killers by the holidaying students. The situation quickly turns for the worse with ghastly but hilarious consequences.

Absolutely loved it. I loved it so much I made my teenager watch she loved it! I love horror films and I love a good comedy and these two marry beautifully in this film. A definite tongue in cheek film and it looks like the cast had a lot of fun making it. Not really horror, as someone else also pointed out, but gory in bits. Loved that it turned the 'usual' storyline on it head and then shook it up! I watched it a couple of times and picked up a few more funny lines I missed the first time.

I love this film, its a sight for sore eyes for a dedicated horror fan. The premise is so great but you need to be a fan of the genre to really appreciate this one and understand the parody that unfolds. A really likeable comedy for horror fans!

Really funny film! I wouldn't classify it as horror but I guess the gore throws it into that category. Hehehe cateGORY. Definitely recommend this one!

Awesome Horror/Comedy where the horror sterotypes are revesed and 2 of the nicest Hillbilles since Jed Clampet's family are under attack when a group of collage kids mistake them for killers. Well acted by all and the direction is smooth and Original while balancing the horror and comedy very nicely. Quite gory but the gore is played for dark humor and is very well done..LOVED IT

A very funny black comedy, it's like Deliverance or The Texas Chainsaw Massacre as seen through the eyes of the hicks. Tucker and Dale are one of the best comedy duos, and while the kills are bloody disgusting (deserving the horror part of the horror-comedy tag) their reactions are priceless. Treat yourself to an under-rated gem.

Certainly different. Not hysterically funny but it has it's moments. I enjoyed it but it would depend on your sense of humour.

Yes it was a good " take" on mob mentality influencing a group of friends which bring about untimely deaths. A funny adult movie that was good for a laugh or two or three.

Dedicated fans of slasher-flicks (particularly of the hillbilly variety) will enjoy this good-natured parody considerably more than those unfamiliar with genre gems like The Hills Have Eyes or the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. While it's very funny in parts, it's hard to sustain what is essentially a one-joke plot, and the film inevitably runs out of stream towards the end. Still, a pleasant time waster; especially for horror buffs.

Great comedy with lots of gore. A great turn about on the classic horror of the 80's

This was a classic twist on the usual homicidal hillbillies and instead, a homicidal schoolie. It was funny, fast paced and good to watch from beginning to end.

Have to decide if you go into this wanting a horror or a comedy. As a comedy it tries to be a spoof misses. As a horror it nearly hits the mark but that's not great. Nearly hitting the mark would be considered a fail if you were trying to shoot JFK.

Hilarious take on the college kid slasher film genre... the two main hillbillies are fantastic... Every cliche character played well for lots of laughs.

LOL loved this. Having seen many thriller/horror movies about backwater hill billys terrorising teens. This was a great way of saying 'hey they are people too!'. Many laughs as the teens blunder their way to death.
