when will i ever learn not to watch anything with Nicolas cage. Not that he watches too many movies with me.

Stupid!

This is a pretty c**p movie. I like Nicole Kidman but she is horrendous here. One of her worst efforts ever. I really like Nicolas Cage but this is just a horrible movie. The scenes are repetitive and bad. 1/5 which puts it on the same shelf as 'Plaguers' - thats really bad.

Good movie, Fast paced,good acting by Nicolas Cage,Nicole Kidman and Ben Mendelsohn

One word, Rubbish! Totally boring. Why do the baddies either: 1. Tell the goodies what they are going to do to them so the goodies can get out of the situation. 2. The baddies always have to squabble with each other and fall apart. This movie is bad!

The intruders mention a few times that they needed to be in and out within 20 minutes: This film would have been a lot more enjoyable had they stuck to that deadline.

45 mins in and I'm bored. There is lots of yelling and irrational behaviour. Not that clever at all... switching it off.

Moderately interesting, Nicole Kidman great, Ben Mendelsohn very good, Nicholas Cage, why do they give him major roles?, haven't they got some proper actors available?

Disappointing. I only hired this because Nicolas Cage was in it. This Script was not worthy of his great talent.

I thought this movie started well,then went a bit downhill. Fairly mindless, but a few twists. Could have been better

Trespass. Considering the actors in this movies I can only assume they needed the dollars. really dreadful and I really didn;t care what happened to the family during the home invasion.......appalling script written by a primary school student!

Not worth watching. Absolute rubbish, no story line to it .. Thumbs Down to this....

Violent, unpleasant, unimaginative, predictable. Don't waste your time. We would have given this zero stars but the system allows a minimum of one.

A rather predictable movie but not too bad. A lot of unnecessary violence

Not bad but not good either, lack of information and a lot of 'maybe this happened' and 'maybe it didn't' was rather irritating to say the least. The who, why and what were not answered to my satisfaction.

Not a fan of this flick. Way too similar to other flicks (as others have noted). Waste of two good actors with a very predictable and shallow storyline.

Seen it all before ! There are so many good books around that tell wonderful stories . Some do not have any violence at all. Just a good story ! Someone please make an interesting movie !

Acting by all was woeful and storyline so predictable. Don't bother unless you are desperate

This was predictable, a little boring in that it was repetitive - too much screaming and Nichole sliding around on the cold floor in bare legs and people going away and coming back. I couldn't just sit and watch so made a cake while watching it. I thought the acting was below standard, the script poor and the set - supposed to be a swanky and expensive house - just looked like a film set. The ending was weak and a bit silly. We were left feeling we'd just watched a crappy movie. But, later on we both decided that we could have seen a bit more to the story than what was on the screen - it did try to illustrate that everything we have can be taken away so easily and what is left, the people/relationship, should be the most important part of our lives. Doesn't really work for the bad guys though who mostly ended up dead.

A fair movie if a somewhat predictable one. something about it reminded me of 'Panic Room', rich couple, spoilt Daughter hire contractors to do house renovation that see too much of the life style and habits of the family and ddecide to come back and rob them to pay off their drug debts but the couple decide to fight back and the robbers plans begin to fall apart and they turn on each other.

Enjoyed this movie. Not a Nichole Kidman fan but love Nicholas Cage's movies.

Acclaimed actors in a dull vehicle plot, with obvious ending.

Actually quite a surprise..I am not usually a lover of cage, but this seemed to suit him. Probably because other seem to have more lines. Action packed and kept me entertained for the whole movie...

It is quite a full-on movie, go go go, wailing and shooting. it was ok, i wouldnt watch it again.

What a lame movie. No plot and no sense.

Interesting drama but weak in the credibility department. It was like a "how not to rob a house" by the biggest bunch of dysfunctional bad people you could find. Cage acted well, Nicole did her stereotype wooden stuff. Worth a watch but don't have high expectations

This is intense, yet those watching it last night with me thought it a heap of junk..... Watch if u want... but hey you were warned... disappointing viewing.

A tense thriller which involves a home invasion and robbery. A few twists and turns, but not up to the same standard as movies such as Panic Room with Jodie Foster. Very watchable, but easily forgotten.

brilliant movie, suspense ans twists are great, enjoyed this movie lots, but some parts go on and it can become a bit of deja vu in parts.

A tense, suspenseful thriller in the vein of Panic Room. Worth a watch.
