After five years at sea, Anton returns to find that Ireland is a very different place to the one he left behind: at war with the Brits, with violence and terror everywhere. Anton's anger and patriotism soon lead him into a world of torture and murder until he kills the wrong man. Hunted and on the run from both sides, Anton must risk everything if he is to save his family and the woman he left behind.
