A rather excellent thriller that will keep you guessing. Superb performances and looks good. I didn't know what was going to happen next. It's not fast-paced, but the story keeps you locked in.

Hoped this would be good but it is really slow with about 15 minutes of action nearly 20 minutes before the end. Boring and predictable!

Found this one to be excellent viewing, great scenery good plot. Lost a bit of credibility with the all to easy killing of the main nemesis but on a whole was well worth viewing

I enjoy movies about mysterious Russia. I enjoyed Transsiberian although I thought the role of Woody Harrelson was played with a touch too much naietivity. The rest of the movie was entertaining with some twists and quirks.

A married missionary couple share a train sleeper with a backpacker couple with disturbing results. A wonderful thriller that manages to keep one guessing throughout. The film is almost a throwback to earlier movies of its type in that it relies more on characterisation and suspense than fast cutting action and formulaic plots. 4.5 stars

Writer-director Brad Anderson made quite a splash with his previous film The Machinist but comes up short with the more conventional Transsiberian. Finance by various EU countries, utilising a Spanish crew filming in Lithuania, standing in for Siberia, the movie is an enjoyable romp but instantly fogettable. It's billed as a thriller but the tale of innocents abroad caught up drug trafficking and Russian Mafia doings didnt really thrill me that much. The highs and lows of international casting areon display: Emily Mortimer is excellent, Eduado Noriega is sexy, Ben Kingsley is Ben Kingsley, Woody Harrelson has a thankless one-dimensional role and Thomas Kretschmann is wasted. Movie looks good and does a fine job of recreating Siberia. For a good night in you could do a lot worse... but you could also do a lot better

OK flick with a lot of flaws and hopefully some good acting. The storyline is not heaps exciting and the flick is sometimes slow however keeps you watching. It's a good thriller without being terrific.
