A bit slow to start while the plot and characters was set up. Certainly implausible plot with impossible activities, however we don't watch comedy's to have realism, just an entertaining story. It does have that. Not one of the best movies we have seen, but we enjoyed it.

Light-hearted heist about a group of ordinary workers who take revenge on the mega-wealthy person who swindled them. It's a serious subject done with humour, but the implausible plot is full of holes. The characters are not very believable either, but you can empathise with them. Eddie Murphy works best in a tight role such as this. This is light entertainment that won't tax the viewer.

A star studded cast about a narcissistic, psychopathic millionaire who has made his millions through a ponzi scheme. Guess which US real life character this is based on. Anyway, after losing their pensions to this character, played by Alan Alda,the employees decide to get revenge. You know they are going to succeed and the movie will never win any awards but it is good fun. Plenty of holes in the plot but well worth watching, especially if you have lost money to one of these types. Revenge feels good.

Not what I was expecting at all. This is not a laugh out loud comedy but it is a good movie. The whole idea of what they are trying to do is good. A few funny parts but generally I just enjoyed this movie and was not bored at any time. Worth a look.

Hotel manager wants to get his retirement funds back and all those that he works with. Alan Alda is creepy as the bad guy who stole their money and the heist itself is filled with lots of laughs. There is a little bit of romance and the characters are unlikely but believeable. The whole movie ends too abruptly for me but then I always like seeing the underdog win.

I'm intrigued to see so many good reviews -- this film sets itself up as a "Mission:Impossible" clone, but gets bogged down in character development (not usually a bad thing, unless you're expecting action!). The heist itself isn't clever, and you won't see any fabulous stunts. A well rounded film, but essentially dull.

Very enjoyable flick. Great cast (good to see Alan Alda again, and with a role that was a good fit). Lots of laughs and entertainment. Enough depth in the storyline to be interesting but not so much that you have to 'work' - just sit back and enjoy :)

Same formula as the Oceans Trilogy, it has a great cast and fun storyline. Eddie Murphy back in form with his Trading Places/48 Hours style crookster and Ben Stiller as the "mastermind" are the standouts in this cast of whacky characters. Definitely worth viewing.

There's a bit of forgettable fun to be had here, but the laughs didn't start until about two-thirds of the way through, particularly when Eddie Murphy finally makes his appearance. He's funnier here than he's been in a long while. Overall a very silly movie with a syrupy ending, but as I said, fun to be had for the most part.
