Yeah I liked this. Only negative is that the script was sometimes too obvious. But otherwise good.
‘To Big To Fail’ is well done for a subject that would not appeal to many…the world financial crisis of 2008. The style is a mix between drama, which the event certainly was, and documentary. Fortunately the film is pacey enough to maintain interest and also that is not too long.
Not only are these so-and-so's walking around free whereas they should be in jail but they're still running the economy!
A truly scary movie/documentary - simply because it is based on recent true events of a global financial meltdown brought on by the collapse of Lehman Brothers in America. This happened almost exactly 4 years ago. Has the world learnt from history? Should you watch this movie to protect your assets? Since May 2012, we have had the Euro Crisis with the same lack of decision making going on. We individuals are not 'too big to fail' as far as the global financial system goes. I think this is an important movie, so I highly recommend it. The acting is good too. Paul Giamatti as Ben Bernanke looks so much like him, I had to keep looking twice to make sure it was not.
Chronicles the financial meltdown of 2008 and centers on Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson. Great insight into what lengths the government had to do to bail out the greedy banks
Terrific. And the best (worst) is that all of it is completely true!
THIS MOVIE/STORY AS CERTAINLY AN EYE OPENER........ IN REALITY IT IS FRIGHTENING TO THINK THAT SO MUCH (MONEY AND FUTURES OF OUR LIVES ARE IN TH EHANDS OF SO FEW)
BUT THIS SORT OF STORY CERTAINLY MAKE A "GOOD" STORY.
