"B" grade Japanese film. Funny stuff, no story line to speak of, no horror or spooky moments to speak of, and yet we just couldn't turn it off. As horror stories go, this was bad, but very entertaining...lots of laughs.

Could have been real good original horror movie. but they FAILED. a real pitty. it wasnt scarey. a little bit gorey. but just a big let down. maybe if i knew of the franchise more so, i could of enjoyed it? hmm i doubt it. badly made. translated even worse! some translations didnt make any sense. just a plain stupid movie. foreign or otherwise, im a HUGE horror fan. but this movie bombed out. but somehow i still see this movie having a huge cult following. not just by people who like all the other tomie stuff. i dont say this easily or about many movies, even ones i hate but i say it SUX! ... watch it & make your own mind up.

Based on a popular Japanese manga series, this is an utterly over-the-top gore fest that makes little sense and is not in the least bit frightening. Will probably appeal to fans of the genre but I struggled to make it to the end.

always been a big fan of the 'tomie' franchise. I believe this is the 4th?? as i have seen 3 others. This title as with previous instalments was not a letdown. It delivered what was expected................ good down to earth japanese horror.......... ( i call this 'innocent blood-letting), as it seems to initiate alot of blood & violence, but not from person upon person, more like 'thing' upon human type thing. i think that is what attracts me to these titles, the shock and horror within the scenes from the characters and what is happening around them is terrifying enough to everyone within the movie, it is enough to scare the audience as well. Recomended viewing (with strong stomach)

Not a bad Tomie for those who've seen the previous films. Drags a bit in the end with some VFX that will remind you Frank Henen Lotter's work. I enjoyed it. This is a Japanese movie so expect English subtitles. It's a crazy type of Horror with mad characters and some weird scenes but again it is a real ride and a good one in my opinion.
