Watched it two consecutive nights. I keep recalling scenes days later. Subtle humour where every line and scene is a delight

Has some brilliant moments, but doesn't quite live up to its cult classic status.

Loved it - more for the history of the movie than the actual thing, check out the extras.

Well, I've finally seen this heavy rock cult classic movie and, well, we were probably a little underwhelmed ... I have to say, it is really well acted - it's very believable and is so like a real doco, but we didn't find it overly funny, just sort of amusing. Amazing to discover that the main actors are American, not British, they pull it off so well. The extras are worth watching - celebrities recounting their fave bits out of the movie.

If this movie doesn't make you laugh then you have no sense of humour. Everytime I watch it (about 10 times now) I see funny bits I missed the other times. You will do the same...

This is the definitave rockumentary and it gets better every year and with every viewing. I rate this an 11 because it is bigger than 10.

Took a while, but i finally got to see this amazing film. Rob Reiner and Christopher Guest created a masterpiece that you simply can not stop laughing throughout. A masterpiece of both direction and scripting. More so than Guest's following films "Best in Show" and "A Mighty Wind", this is the perfect mocumentary, or as close to it as makes no difference. It's a great film, with great music, great performances, and great writing. Get it, watch it, live it.

Rhymes with TOTAL XXXXX. At least I now know who to blame for the whole cringe-making, supposedly comic genre of morons and losers with inflated egos that followed (Frontline, The Office etc) But then I'm a drummer, so what would I know!!??

A cult classic, that gets better with age. With the classic running 1:25 and the extra footage running 1:04, this is worth it just for the rare outtakes. Be warned: this is strong level coarse language.

Absolutely brilliant - a must see. Even better on DVD because the special features disc is full of extra footage that didn't make the original film. Very clever film - a cult classic.

For once I actually agree with the Joester. Very funny film and to think that there are still "Cock Rock" Gods out there doing the same things as Nigel, Dave and the band were doing back then - scary!!. Great flick

Brilliant humour; age has not wearied it nor the years condemned.
