Tamara has an unrequited crush on her English teacher and is an outcast at school. When one of the popular girls overhears Tamara making a declaration of love for her teacher they devise a cruel prank to humiliate her.

In desperation, Tamara invokes an ancient spell that promises love, beauty and the power to get rid of anyone in her way. For the spell to work, Tamara’s blood must be used as the sacrifice. When a call from her English teacher invites her to a hotel to meet him she is convinced the spell has worked.

At the hotel it’s not the teacher who appears but her classmates. Realising the cruel prank Tamara lashes out and in the process, trips and falls, accidentally snapping her neck. Tamara’s blood oozes across the floor and onto the torn out page from her spell book...

In English class the next day the kids are all sick with nervous guilt. Then Tamara walks in, smiling, alive and well... and transformed into the most beautiful woman they have ever seen. Tamara begins a calculated game of revenge using her newfound powers and carries out the ultimate vengeance on her classmates.

Absolute c**p. The witch/spell thing was a good basis, but could have been handled a lot better than pretty much turning into a mindless slasher flick. Acting was very poor, just lazy in parts, over-acted in others. The dialogue was juvenile to say the least. I'm left wondering if the film was a high school project.

Movies on witchcraft have been around as long as horror has but this is one of the best films on witchcraft since Suspria. An outcast who has a crush on her teacher and is at odds with the popular rich students is set up in a cruel nasty joke meant to break her but the joke backfires and she is killed but thou her magic arises to take revenge on her tormenters. Brillant acting by all with snappy dialoge with a likeable heroine even when shes pretty but evil plus nasty villians that the viewer cheers on when they get their just desserts. Smooth direction that could has simply made this a Friday the 13th clone and made it a senseless bloodbath without Fridays class but instead took a smarter approach with the death dealing and Tameras weapon of choice which she kills or controls her victims with a touch using the sins of their past as a weapon agasint them. The violence and gore is quite strong for MA with some partically nasty moments but they fit well with the story. The effects are top notch and fit as well. The story does have a strange ending but it dosnt hurt the film in anyway. Def worth a rental for horror fans.

Started off ok, however it tended to lose my interest about halfway through. It would have been so much more electrifying if Tamara wasn't so gungho in her revenge approach. Bit of mystery as to why the others were acting so weird would have made this movie a bit more classy. The acting left a lot to be desired apart from the teacher's wife and Tamara's school mate.

Not bad some bits pretty gory. Acting OK. Story ending a bit abrupt, it's like they had to stop and finished before they had planned to.
