The Tall Man (2011)

A good documentary.... A little boring in the middle, but worth watching.

Eye opening account of a very publicise event.

This story was so one sided that it is clearly designed to profit from the idea of racism. People die in custody as they do in all society. This man happened to be aboriginal and of extremely dire health due to alcoholism. What about the officer who is a huge man and spent his entire career working with aboriginal communities. Prior to this incident he was a highly regarded member of each aboriginal community he worked in and worked toward a better standard of living form each. This movie was never going to show that side though as that would not make money, and thats what movie making is all about.

A fantastic documentary that really shows how conflicted and difficult it is for true justice to be carried out in some parts of the world. Well made, and balanced in the telling of what is a truly tragic story on all fronts.

Nothing much that hasn't been covered by endless doco's and coverage. Tragic story already told many times

Its a documentary. Not the type of show you would be eating popcorn and drinking coke. sometimes hard to understand so make sure you watch it with subtitltes.

many more such bold movies must be made to expose the dark side of racism that hides behind the mask of many people in this country
