a good crime story set on a train

A great portrayal of life before action movies became the domain of larger-than-life heroes who never make mistakes and are never afraid. There's no special effects in this thriller but the plot is simple and good, the acting is terrific and the writing superb. Even at its most politically incorrect moments this is an entertaining film
