After the defeat of their old arch nemesis, The Shredder, the Turtles have grown apart as a family. Struggling to keep them together, their rat sensei, Master Splinter, becomes worried when strange things begin to brew in New York City. Tech-industrialist Max Winters is amassing an army of ancient monsters to apparently take over the world. And only one super-ninja fighting team can stop them-those heroes in a half shell-Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael! With the help of old allies April O'Neil and Casey Jones, the Turtles are in for the fight of their lives as they once again must face the mysterious Foot Clan, who have put their own ninja skills behind Winters' endeavors.

I think I like the old movie when the kids were little, this one did not grasp me from the start and I though my kids now they are older would be interested - NO!

The turtles moved like frog and the movie lacked a beginning, otherwise good though there seemed to be some ambiguity in the monsters they were battling. Leonardo was again protayed as having no leadership qualities or personality, but at least that was story related this time. Raphael was portrayed really well. Best character in the movie. Donatello and Michelangelo? Were they even in this one? Splinter's guidance was either illogical or simply went nowhere. The turtles should dump him and get on with their own lives.

Visually impressive, but thin on the ground in terms of story. Hey, we're not expecting King Lear, but at least Pixar and Dreamworks can put together engaging screenplays when they want to. Voice acting is also rather stilted; unfortunate, considering the likes of Patrick Stewart can bring so much to a film if the script and direction allows. In this case, it does not.

The CGI and story line was good, but the fact that if you haven't seen the other TMNT movies you're left a little bewildered for a few minutes isn't comforting. This is obviously more so for the TMNT fan's from the late 80's - early 90's. Not so much for people who are just wanting to watch a good kids action movie. If you haven't seen the other movies, don't both with this. It really is part of the series.

An awesome movie that should be watched by ALL Ninja Turtles fans, be they fans of the 1987 series (aka: 'Hero Turtles' in UK) or the 2003 series/Fast Forward, or even just the comic books. A perfect blend of action, comedy, darkness (such as Raph's descent since Leo's been away) and digital animation, with beautiful voice actors to bring the characters to life.

Awesome CGI, excellent storyline and and an impressive soundtrack. The idea of a CGI turtles didn't appeal at first, however I now believe its the better of all current TMNT movies.

Not the greatest (or unpredictable) plot ever, but the execution was brilliant! Graphics and animation was very good, and sure they borrowed heavily from "THE INCREDIBLES" in style and characterisation, but its very good, so I forgive them. Entertaining from beginning to end. Watch it.

Worth Watching - pretty good action movie, the stone warrior a bit disappointing though, they didn't live up the expectation, thought it's going to be difficult to beat them.

My kids made me get this and not being a fan of the Turtles, I was amazed at the quality of production and story. Good fun, great lessons for the kids, yet not preachy. Ad to that some excellent animated choreography and this puppy delivers!

I enjoyed this movie! CGI really worked for me, the TMNT's are developed enough to be as enjoyable today as they were the first time around when I watched them as a kid. The storyline was entertaining and plot-driven with a host of new "baddies" for the Turtles to confront. Great!

A pleasant surprise. Light on the 'cowabunga's, heavy on the action, with excellent animation.

well scripted, well animated. The direction of this part of the series goes far and beyond the old "limitations" of the "real" actors in the first few installments. After a while, you forget that you are watching an animated story and become enthralled in the charters. splinter is a little funny looking but again, you get used to how everyone looks.
