I think I like the old movie when the kids were little, this one did not grasp me from the start and I though my kids now they are older would be interested - NO!
The turtles moved like frog and the movie lacked a beginning, otherwise good though there seemed to be some ambiguity in the monsters they were battling.
Leonardo was again protayed as having no leadership qualities or personality, but at least that was story related this time.
Raphael was portrayed really well. Best character in the movie.
Donatello and Michelangelo? Were they even in this one?
Splinter's guidance was either illogical or simply went nowhere. The turtles should dump him and get on with their own lives.
Visually impressive, but thin on the ground in terms of story. Hey, we're not expecting King Lear, but at least Pixar and Dreamworks can put together engaging screenplays when they want to. Voice acting is also rather stilted; unfortunate, considering the likes of Patrick Stewart can bring so much to a film if the script and direction allows.
In this case, it does not.
The CGI and story line was good, but the fact that if you haven't seen the other TMNT movies you're left a little bewildered for a few minutes isn't comforting. This is obviously more so for the TMNT fan's from the late 80's - early 90's. Not so much for people who are just wanting to watch a good kids action movie. If you haven't seen the other movies, don't both with this. It really is part of the series.
pretty boring, I actually thought we were getting the one I remember as a kid with people in suits, was very disappointed with this one.
Absolutely brilliant loved it kids loved watching it and it was great for the adults to.
An awesome movie that should be watched by ALL Ninja Turtles fans, be they fans of the 1987 series (aka: 'Hero Turtles' in UK) or the 2003 series/Fast Forward, or even just the comic books.
A perfect blend of action, comedy, darkness (such as Raph's descent since Leo's been away) and digital animation, with beautiful voice actors to bring the characters to life.
Awesome CGI, excellent storyline and and an impressive soundtrack. The idea of a CGI turtles didn't appeal at first, however I now believe its the better of all current TMNT movies.
was ok but not as good as the tv one
good spin to the last movie. great for the kids to watch. good story line left it open for a 3rd movie.
enjoyable movie, loved the personalities of the Turtles. My oldest daughter loved this movie, watched it alot.
Not the greatest (or unpredictable) plot ever, but the execution was brilliant!
Graphics and animation was very good, and sure they borrowed heavily from "THE INCREDIBLES" in style and characterisation, but its very good, so I forgive them.
Entertaining from beginning to end. Watch it.
I admit i didnt watch it, but my 6 year old said it was as good as transformers and cars, pretty high praise from him!!
Only if you're a fan of this type of movie. Much better than the earlier version.
Loved it from the start to the end. Grate story. You will all your favorite turtles doing what they do best to save the world. Excellent animation movie. Weather you were a fan of original TMNT or not you will enjoy this one..
Worth Watching - pretty good action movie, the stone warrior a bit disappointing though, they didn't live up the expectation, thought it's going to be difficult to beat them.
A well enough done piece off fluff with some inventive cgi and snappy action sequences.
My kids made me get this and not being a fan of the Turtles, I was amazed at the quality of production and story. Good fun, great lessons for the kids, yet not preachy. Ad to that some excellent animated choreography and this puppy delivers!
I enjoyed this movie! CGI really worked for me, the TMNT's are developed enough to be as enjoyable today as they were the first time around when I watched them as a kid. The storyline was entertaining and plot-driven with a host of new "baddies" for the Turtles to confront. Great!
A great one for the family to enjoy together if you have kids approaching their teenage years.
A pleasant surprise. Light on the 'cowabunga's, heavy on the action, with excellent animation.
well scripted, well animated. The direction of this part of the series goes far and beyond the old "limitations" of the "real" actors in the first few installments. After a while, you forget that you are watching an animated story and become enthralled in the charters. splinter is a little funny looking but again, you get used to how everyone looks.
Pretty good animated flick, for young and nostalgic adults alike.
My son loved it. Great for kids.
It is a good action packed movie, my son and daughter loved the turtles. They watched it several times before I was able to retrieve it. Go turtles.
Bit of action, good animation, 12yr old watched it twice.
Interesting, it brings me back to my childhood days when I saw them as cartoons on TV. I guess it is past its due date.
Awesome movie for all age groups. Great to see Leo, Raph, Don & Mikey having to learn to get along together. Two thumbs up to the gang for producing this movie.
The Turtles are back! We loved it!
my 4 year old and his grandpa really enjoyed it
surprisingly good. ending was a bit weak tho
Like the movies with the guys dressed up in suits better.
well worth watching .not as good as the TMNT's with the actors dressed in suits but highly recomended .
Good movie to keep the kids entertained and a bit of nostalgia adults who might have seen the original movies. A lot better as animation than live action (of the orginals).
Loved it! Great story, comedy, cartoon, very entertaining and hip! Bring the next one on!!
The movie feels dark and moody - it was a good rendition of the Turtles story, easily the best so far. Fans of CGI and the Turtles will love it!
great movie. a good addition to the movie series.
Great movie, great cgi. Rings true to the good old cartoons. The original live action one is still probably the best. The other live action however were cheesy and weak. This beats them hands down
My kids loved the movie, it was watched over and over.
we liked the movies with the guys dressed up in suits better.
i didn't watch it but my oldest son said it was great
One more for the kids, had a good cast of voices and kept this older kid entertained for the duration of the movie.
it's ok I guess.. not fantastic though... good action sequences... only for avid fans of TMNT.
Kids loved it, and even I watched it.
Spectacular CGI and great characters. Not to be missed for fans of the TMNT and excellent entertainment for non-fans.
