Freshman year is no fairy tale. In this funny, modern retelling of the classic Snow White fairytale, Amanda Bynes is Sydney White, a beautiful college freshman who pledges her late mother's once dignified sorority. But after discovering that today's sisterhood is not what it used to be, Sydney finds her new home away from home with seven outcasts. With the help of her socially challenged new friends, Sydney will take on the reigning campus queen to attempt to transform the school's misguided social hierarchy.

Another movie that just appeared in the letter box. The Grandchildren actually liked this one and said it was 'cool' for 13-17yr olds.

Brilliant, entertaining with a great story line. Great for teenagers who love Sorority House movies.

This was a great comedy with a heart-felt story attached. Always remember feeling an outcast at school so my heart went out to the main actress/actors. A well worth watching movie, great family all-rounder

Good movie and a good modernisation of Snow White, bringing it into the 21st Century. Sara Paxton and Amanda Bynes were good in their roles but like always Amanda Bynes was a little over the top. But overall a good movie for the family.

It was a really fun movie. Amanda is an enjoyable actress and I always enjoy the characters she plays in movies. The ending was a little "dorky" but other than that it was a brilliantly lighthearted and fun look at the "fickle" sorrorities in American colleges.

A humorous adaptation of Snow White that kept you surprised at the clever ways the writer has found to integrate all the important components of the original fairy tale. A little slow and a little corny but overall pleasant viewing experience for the family.
