Well acted and shot but the plot and pacing are a let down.
Another good aussie movie. Was a bit puzzled on how the "Summer Coda" piece of music tied in with the the movie though........
Very enjoyable story with some surprises. Humour and depth combined very successfully. I loved the unusual mix of both main characters and what a relief that we don't have to endure long lovemaking scenes, which should be classified as soft porn! Very satisfying viewing for those who love a little bit of romance thrown in the mix!
Found this a good Australian Story and well acted. Would recommend to others.
I enjoyed this movie, some may find this movie slow, but I didn't mind, great to see some authenticity added with real Australian town names used instead of ficticious ones, makes the viewer feel connected especially when you have been to these places.
A nice Australian movie, with highs and lows, but a bit slow, but entertaining.
no storyline couldn't watch it all
Some of the worst aspects of Australian film-making are on display here: over-use of the wide shot, exposition through dialogue rather than drama, over reliance on music for emotional impact, uninteresting characters, strained and unrealistic plot and dialogue.
An enjoyable Aussie movie which has been well cast.Set in the Riverina District..I could almost taste the Oranges. The movie did seem a little on the long side and the story itself is somewhat familiar but never the less it was easy to watch and kept me entertained and I loved the scenery
nice, australian movie......
great to see alex dimitriadis in a film.....
Slow at start but a nice movie.
This was a very lovely Aussie film which probably deserved to do better at the box office. The pace is slow and comfortable, with some geniunely funny and touching moments. A good cast offer a glimpse into the lives of two different characters.
unbelievebly boring , slow paced and non happening movie
so disappointing when it has such good actors cast in it
worst aussie film ive seen in years
Loved this romantic feel good film! Fantastic
I agree with other reviewers - the film is so slow - watching paint dry would be faster and probably more enjoyable. There was virtually NO story???? Shockingly obvious acting (Rachael Taylor) and a dreadful script. i turned it off after half an hour then went back later and tried watching again. I did watch to the end to see if anything actually happened of note, but nothing... I was going to give one star but on reflection and given that it is so painfully bad i think a no star review is warranted.
I wanted to see this because it's an Aussie movie. Unfortunately I won't be recommending it to anyone. I found it slow and boring. Nice to see bits of the countryside, but that's about all.
One of the best Australian films I've seen in ages, its a shame that not a lot of people will get to see it.Keep in mind it is a romantic film and you have to like that kind of movie.
painfully slow, tedious, can't think how this film got finance. Sorry to bag an Australian film, but cannot honestly recommend anyone to waste any of their lives watching.
Badly written and acted. Excruciatingly awkward. Nice photography though.
