Wow, I'm really going against general opinion here but my husband & I both disliked this movie. I love indie & arthouse movies but I found Submarine to be bizarre and generally quite tedious (kept dozing off). We saw it out to the end and regretfully it's 97 minutes of my precious time I'll never get back ...

Richard Ayoade's directorial debut sits well with Warp Films (home of the excellent and recent Four Lions). The young actors are perfectly cast, the tone deliciously wry. Hilarious!

A strange little movie. Really enjoyed it. Some great characters and relationships. Loved the ending.
