I WENT TO GOOLWA PRIMARY...YEEEEAH
A little long winded and slow but ok.
a very good family movie, enjoed every bid of it,thanks.
I have memories of my fourth grade teacher reading the book of Storm Boy to our class. I thought it was a great story. I also remember seeing the film when I was younger. The novelty of seeing this film again had worn off. The appeal just wasn't there anymore, and I found the film somewhat boring. I also found the music quite bizarre.
great aussie movie, you will fall in love with the pelican and the end of the story has a sad ending, highly recommened for all ages to watch.
Timeless movie, love the bringing together of two cultures, and the boy was such a good actor. Actually all of them were excellent actors. great story! Touched my heart at 10 yo and again at 30 yo. This is a movie all Australian's should watch.
An old favourite, still worth watching.
Heartwarming adaptation of Colin Thiele?s children?s story makes wonderful family drama. Beautifully photographed, this was the South Australian Film Corporation?s first ?children?s? film. While it delves perhaps into fantasy once or twice, it?s a first-rate production, with good performances all round, but in particular from Dave Gulpilil (appearing here as simply ?Gulpilil?), who would go on to star in "The Tracker" and "Rabbit-Proof Fence" in 2002.
A little Oz classic. Simple story, no bad language, an early look at posing questions about race, the environment. Steady performances all round. Doesn't get the attention it deserves
