complete waste of ones time. do not get this. i couldnt get through the first 10 minutes of it before i gave up. they shouldnt have remade the original movie. i know that stephen king didnt like how the original movie wasnt enough like the novel but come on. this movie (tv show thingy) has no suspence. they tell u what the original ether took the entire movie to tell or didnt tell. the effects are rubbish. this sucks. this was poorly made. also i have read the book and i prefer the original movie more than the book. shouldnt have been remade.

I love Stephen Kings stuff...but this in comparison to Kubrick's version is lame. An okay watch on a rainy day, but best to have a back-up plan as this "mini-series" takes a while to warm up. If you get bored or distracted easy, this one isn't for you!
