A very enjoyable sci-fi. Certainly plenty of fast paced action. Bit of a satire on other more serious sci-fi's. Future soldiers taking on super sized bugs. Special effects pretty good but would have thought warfare would have advanced past bullets by then.

The armed forces take on the bug threat from outer space. A bit of satire on corporatised warfare and the power of advertising. The special effects are pretty good and the story moves at a rapid pace. 3.5 stars

i did not no what to think about this movie but i got it anyways this movie is great and is going to be one of the best b graded movies ever it tops all the starship trooper movies you must watch this one befor the others cause the others wer a big let down.

Not an original story line - us against the bugs - however loved the futureistic time frame and all the trimmings - it amussed me that they still only had bullets!

A true Verhoeven film in the same line as the first Robocop. Don't dismiss this as serious sci-fi. This is tongue in cheek social satire of future society and all its ills, with an alien and love plot thrown in. And it works - really well!

One of my favourite sci-fi action movies and one of the rare instances where the movie is, I think, better than the book. If you enjoy this try the next instalment Hero of the Federation. Not quite as well produced but still a good story and quite well acted. Waiting for the next addition to the story.
