My all time favourite movie! Hot rock star meets aspiring pop star who isn't a groupie...will love conquer all? Cool music, the amazing voice of Barbara and a unique storyline. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Gets me every time and I've seen it many times....

This is a rather unique movie (a remake) depicting a worn-out, run down
Rock star, (played by Kristofferson) . It shows what possibly can happen when rock stars fall out of favour and become cynical and lose direction and spiral downward into a pathetic comfort zone called the self pity .
The show is movie is well supported by the splendid talents of Barbara Streisand, who's sing outshines and carries the story line. Good singing appearance by Venetta Fields (the OREOS) who resides and often arrears on Australian shows, she is a wonderful talent in her own right. Gary Busey is always a great actor to include in any movie. Great, enjoyed it immensely. 5/5

An oldy, but a goody. Chris Christopherson is brilliant in this movie. Do yourself a favour and watch it.
