Like most kids, 12 year old Carmen Cortez and her annoying little brother, Juni, think their parents are the most boring people in the world. But they've just discovered a most amazing secret about their parents - they're spies! "But they're not cool enough to be spies".
And so an adventure like no other begins... Back in the spy game after a 10 year retirement, the parents (Antonio Banderas and Carla Gugino) have just left on their first mission - to save the world from the evil forces of techno-wizard Fegan Floop (Alan Cumming) and his plan to invade the world with mini robotic children. But Mum and Dad are a bit rusty and are soon kidnapped by Floop and locked up in his transmogrifying castle.
Who can save them? Well - just a couple of ordinary, bickering brother and sister spykids who'll do anything to get their parents back. Even if they do think they're boring.

Very clever spy spoof film for kids and their parents. The script is quite funny and Antonio Banderas, Teri Hatcher and all the adults join in with great gusto. Recommended. 3.5 stars.

A great family movie. Has something for everyone even if it is a kids movie. It was light and refreshing. No bad language or violence. It was "cute". Nice chanage. I will be renting Spy Kids 11 for sure.

My kids aren't old enough for this so wacthed it on my own - a fun film and definately one that you coudl easily be netertained with young teenagers or perhaps even a bit younger. Would be a good warm up to James Bond as they get older.

Excellent and funny kids and overall family movie, the part that toally kills me is when he ( the father - Antonia Banderas ) looks out the window and screams with pure horror and his hair is standing up as well, " It's Your Mother ", a truly funny line. I will enjoy watching this movie with my own children one day. well recommended

Kids will love the action, adults will find it cute beyond words. Robert Rodriguez excels at family movies and it will be great to see more family movies from this writer/director.
