Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) has finally managed to strike a balance between his devotion to MJ (Kirsten Dunst) and his duties as a superhero. But there is a storm brewing on the horizon.

When his suit suddenly changes, turning jet black and enhancing his powers, it transforms Peter as well, bringing out the dark, vengeful side of his personality that he is struggling to control. Under the influence of the suit, Peter becomes over-confident and starts to neglect the people who care about him most.

Forced to choose between the seductive power of the new suit and the compassionate hero he used to be, Peter must overcome his personal demons as two of the most feared villains yet, Sandman and Venom (Thomas Haden Church and Topher Grace), gather unparalleled power and a thirst for retribution to threaten Peter and everyone he loves.

Very very dissapointing, the graphics are simply too overdone to the point where its plainly fake. The slow and boring bits are painfully boring. The cliche nerd gets girl is like tearing a bandaid, you find yourself yelling at the screen. To top it off i had to enject the disc, i didn't want to waste any more electricty on it. Don't bother!

Such a poor effort. The acting is bad to say the least. The storyline is fine, it's just destroyed with pathetic moments throughout the movie. Poorly acted and badly scripted. See it just to see how bad it gets!

OMG. Ths Spiderman franchise really lost it this time, with totally out of context dancing scenes, and completely unbelievable storyline. I guess if you are a die-hard fan this one is for you, but otherwise, steer clear.

I really tried hard to like this movie (being a huge Spidey fan) but in the end i found the story a tad boring. Don't get me wrong the action sequences were fantastic but in the end there just weren't enough of them.

Great! ...If you're a Spidy fan. I guess some moments could be called soapy, but it's all part of developing the characters on film which I and many others grew up loving in the comic books. There are some genuinely funny moments which brought out the laughter, yet the movie maintains a serious tone. An excellent 'super hero' movie, but definitely not one for the kiddies.

If your a Spiderman fan then I'm sure you'll like this movie... it was only OK in my book. The movie looks very good being our brand new movie with Hi Def in mind but the story lets it down. VERY limited "Special Features" with some bloopers 1 music video & the movie trailer.... wow.
