What a thought provoking movie. Such a good story.
What a very lovely film! A beautiful "chick-flick" with a believable and intelligent understanding of time travel. Christopher Reeve is gorgeous as the playright and Jane Seymour as the actress. Lovely decor, music and storyline. 4 stars!
Have to watch this movie again. In honour of Christopher Reeve who was a Superman in real life who fought such a battle and assisted in helping others. Great movie, a classic for all time. A true love story
way too slow, gaps in the story line. Wished something significant would happen.

I remember the first time that I saw this when I was a younger and it still makes me cry as much as did then
Absolutely love this movie. Timeless classic in my opinion
A very powerful movie and a tear jerker at the end. Watched it three times and will order it again in the future!
Chick flick yes, but great for those who enjoy time travel movies and those who believe in love.
Strange movie,,didn't enjoy this one
my wife watched this years ago and loved it. it is the most romantic movie and she, has to this day remembered every bit of it . she said it is as good as the movie 'The Notebook'.
Pretty slow, time warp fantasy. Not for us
Definitely a woman's movie
Great fun to see my childhood hero Reeve out of the tights and into period gear! Enjoyably schmaltzy romance which requires a fair suspension of disbelief but pays off well. Enlivened by the fine performances of Reeve and Seymour, with Christopher Plummer odious as the dastardly villian. Two tissue time for the romantics among us!
May be a "chick flick", but still a good movie. Nothing like a bit of romance even in a fella's life!!
Just loved it. A magical love story.
One of the most magical love stories I have seen to date. Have to keep the tissues handy though. Watched it twice and it still bought a tear to my eye. Just loved it.
Yes, this is a chick flick but its OK. Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour are strong characters. There romance transends the fabric of time. Good for a rainy afternoon with a loved one
Good old fashioned chick flick
