The kids loved it, I thought it was ok but then it is aimed at kids so their thoughts count more so!

The smurfs movie is far better than I first thought. The trailers don't give it justice. It looks fantastic on Blu-ray and the human charactors are great. There is also a message of love and compassion there which makes everyone feel good. My kids wanted to watch it again and again, nearly as much as me.

Totally awesome movie, really cleverly animated Smurfs which looks great in Blu-ray, kids 5 and 6 years old even had to ask me if the Smurfs were real :-) Loads of fun - if you used to be a Smurf fan this movie is great. Actors in the movie are pretty good, special mention to 'Doogie Howser' and Hank Azaria...

I guess it wasn't my cup of tea. Felt too predictable, and the special effects were laughable. Kids seemed to like it, lots of laugh-out-loud moments. 6/10.
