One for the kids - but only if you they're not yours.
I'm 25 years old and I love the Smurfs.
This movie was funny and plenty of smiles and laughs for kids and adults alike. Such a smurfing good time!
Smufftastic,Smufderful, it will get you out of your blues.
My 5 year old loved it. She found it very entertaining and funny
Had rented this one out for the kids. Horrible. Stupid to the extreme. Not even funny.
Started a little slow but very enjoyable movie
Fun for smurf fans, lot better than expected, great fun for all the family
Overall, quite an entertaining movie.
kids were very entertained by this one.
The story and depth of characters in this were great, my little girl really enjoyed it. Computer images were fantastically done. Recommend for kids viewing.
Great fun family movie. Recommended.
i was very concerned about this, but i can happily say I loved it.
really well made and hank azaria was brilliant as gargamel.
fan or not, very enjoyable.
Only for the fans.
My husband enjoyed this more than the kids. I guess you have to grow up with the show to appreciate it.
Very funny and loved that they brought the Smurfs back.
A lovely family movie about deciding what is really important in your life. The acting was sincere and the characters believable and entertaining.
I confess that it was not as good as I thought it was going to be. Still had quite a few chuckles along the way. 1st half very slow, it did get better.
Terrible. Animation very good, but the story sadly, was not even of interest to the little one's watching.
Definitley great one for the kids, some good giggles for grown ups too but maybe not as many as something like Shrek.
Well put together, with a good storyline. Some giggles as well.
Sweet. Funny. Good vehicle for Neil Patrick Harris to have some fun in. Just doesn't kick the goals excpected. Kids might love it.
The kids thoroughly enjoyed it!
Kids and adults loved it.
For anyone who loved the Smurfs as a child, while I thought the movie was a bit different, it was still well done. Will always be a fan of Smurfs.
Boring. Got it for the kids and even they walked away. They chucked in a few B grade actors from TV shows like "How I met your mother" and "Modern family" and thought it would rate.
Still as good as we remembered it when my son used to watch it when he was a tyke. He is 31 years old.
Excellent Hank was awesome as Gargamel. My kids loved it.
My children loved this movie...
Not too bad, but not like all the usual kids movies going around, didn't keep me interested.
It was an awesome movie I loved it took me back to when I was a kid
My Girls aged 4yrs loved it and watch it about a dozen times - it looked great and colourful and they are still singing the Smurf song.
Fantastic movie for young children
Definitely a family show for when it is raining outside. Funny at times with the punch lines, Papa smurf again delivers the smurf village out of trouble. However not a top priority to watch show even for someone growing up watching smurf cartoons!
At times the human actors do look like they're really talking to the Smurfs (as others have noted). My daughter loves this. Fast forwards it to when the Smurfs are in New York. I defy any adult who was a child in the 70's/80's not to sing along to the "la la la la la la" theme song. Papa Smurf's voice is gorgeous.
Kids enjoyed this, but not many grown up jokes thrown in as per most kids films.
Well watched by the kids a number of times, enjoyed by all.
A movie that is fun for both children & adults a lovely movie
Disappointing, starts slow. I was hoping for more out of a remake of the Smurfs. One positive is the actors have done well to not look like they are talking to an inanimate object and appear to really be conversing with the smurfs
The movie is not fully animated as the front cover would lead you to believe. I had not seen any preview to know otherwise, and my 4 year old son was bitterly disappointed to find the movie was a mixed animated with real people type movie. Front cover and story summary provided do not indicate this. Not a very young kids movie.
I'm not a fan of Neil Patrick Harris but still enjoyed the movie. My 5yo son wants his own copy.
Funny for a kids movie.... enjoyed it....
watch this one if you like funny kids movies
Our 8yr old Granddaughter loved this one at the cinema and again loved it on DVD. . . definately one I have to add to our home DVD collection for the Grandchildren. It brought back some nice memories of children growing up.
As sweet as the original. Everyone will enjoy this movie. Gets you singing the smurf song though!
This is an awesome Movie and make sure you have some popcorn when you watch it
Kids thought it was great
Was awesome - Me and my family loved it!
My 8 and 9 year old boys were captivated by the Smurfs. As an adult, I also loved it as it brought back memories of my childhood with smurfs.
Very entrtaining for the children..Lots of fun!
We really enjoyed it it was very cute
My 5 year old son nearly wore a hole in this watching it so much - he loved it
Didn't really enjoy this as I saw the Smurfs on tv growing up and prefer the old style animation. For those who are new to Smurf's, this would be quite good. Just can't beat childhood memories :-)
Good clean family entertainment. Fun to watch :)
Lovely family movie. Funny and entertaining. Sweet message.
smuftastic very cute kids loved it
Excellent! i loved it just as much as the kids!
A fun movie for preschoolers and older children. Lots of action. Humour which will appeal to adults. A little cliched, but fun still the same.
great family entertainment recommended viewing
my 5 year old loved it, he is new to the world of Smurfs, so was captivated by the cute little men in blue (and smurfette)
Both of our girls loved this movie & watched it 3-4 time before returning. I think this could be a good stocking filler.
The whole family really enjoyed this movie, we will be buying our own copy of this one.
This is a great, fun family movie. It was better than I expected. Definitely worth watching.
this movie is the best i have seen yet you have to see it like totally cool dude =)
